My head on your shoulder
The air had never been colder
Leaning in so that I could see
There you are looking at me
Sparkling green eyes can't be missed
You surprise me with a gentle kiss
You can't see how you made me melt
As I grasped it was your lips I felt
I don't deserve to be part of your life
Without you I face constant strife
Inspiration wells within my soul
I am but an ember and you the coal
