So maybe challenging him wasn't the right thing to do, as soon as my words registered in his mind a tiny smirk formed on his plump lips. He ran a hand over his beard before turning back to the road

"you're going to regret saying that" he whispered darkly, ok yeh so I've messed up. Taking a deep breath in I looked at the road in front of me, we're on a single road with massive oak trees surrounding both sides, the trees bending inwards creating a tunnel-like atmosphere. If he's to kill me here he'd probably get away with it.

My heartbeat began to increase as the trees became 1 big green blur, we were speeding towards nothingness.

Suddenly the silent vibration of my phone distracted me, glancing down at my lap I sighed as the called Id showed Ray. Quickly pressing the answer button I placed it on my ear tightly.

" Hey Ray, what's going on?" I asked in a fake calm manner. The car started to speed up even more.

" Storm, why aren't you home. We're at your flat right now" he spoke harshly, how long has it been since I got in the car with mister PMS!

Immediately checking the time I huffed in anger. I got into his car around 5.30 and now it's 6.45, you know what they say, time flies when you think you're going to die. Awesome.

"Listen tell dad I'll be back in 20 minutes ok" Ray mumbled an ok before hanging up, it is officially time to leave.

Removing my grip from the oh-shit handle I took my seat belt off and turned towards him, his jaw is still set in concrete and fists clenched around the wheel.

" Andrei either you stop the car right now or I'll jump out" I stated seriously, unfortunately, I didn't get a serious response, Andrei turned towards me with a smirk. A challenging smirk at that.

Well ok then, I thought carelessly. Tucking my phone into my bra I nodded in agreement.

" bye"

Without wasting a second to check my surroundings I opened the door and jumped out, my body slipped and rolled down a large grassy hill, sharp rocks poked into me as I went further down.

Maybe I should have checked my surroundings first but I didn't like an impulsive idiot. Rolling over 5 times down the unknown hill I landed at the bottom with a thump, alive.

" fucking did it" I squealed raising my arms in excitement. Smiling at my accomplishment I gently stood up and dusted the dirt off my dress. He definitely thought I wouldn't do it, I thought the same a few minutes before I took the leap of faith but when there's a challenge I seem to not care about my life.

I glanced around my surroundings with a huff, trees trees and umm trees. No homes and no people, God where am I. Slipping the heels of I started my limp up the hill calmly, If it wasn't for the comforting grass under my bare feet I'd probably be crying in pain.

I'm pretty sure as soon as I get home my bodies going to give up on me and die in pain.

" Come here" Andrei ordered standing by his beautiful car, turning towards him I couldn't help but snarl. This man will be the death of me.

Shooting my middle finger up I began walking the total opposite way until houses came into view, that's when the area became familiar, the small Lyca mobile store is a staple. I'm only a  few streets away from the estate, luckily not close to the rich area.

Why did Andrei drive past my area, the route we were on leads to the Maunsell Forts, the old, abandoned army forts on the sea. Apparently the Mafia runs a few torture chambers in that area.

Before entering the residential area I slipped my heels back on, I seriously do not want to look like a crack addict on these streets.

"Chicken sweet chicken" I mumbled as Dixies came into view, my favourite. Quickly texting dad to meet me there I tucked my phone back into my bra before sauntering in. The warm air and smell of crispy fried chicken gave me a welcoming hug as I stepped in.

" Hey Storm looking beautiful tonight, the usual?" Miles asked as he tipped his red hat at me, my favourite boy in the world.

" thank you, and yes, dad's on his way right now"

Nodding his head he quickly ran to the back to make the order, God I hope he's quick. Sitting opposite the window I sighed, life doesn't seem to be getting any easier for me.

Chances are it'll be extremely hard until I complete this mission and get Andrei out of life, forever.

Distracted by the heat I slipped the cardigan off leaving me in the revealing dress, at this point I no longer care, no matter what I'm under Jamal's protection here.

And it's absolutely boiling in here, I don't like to sweat whilst eating.

The small bell above the door alerted me to another customer, turning towards the door I smiled.

" hey honey" dads soft voice echoed through the small shop, looking up I smiled with fake happiness. He sat opposite me with a grim look plastered on his face.

"how was the meeting, you had me worried"

I knew he would be, rolling my eyes I smiled as the food was set on the table.

Miles placed 2 chicken burger meals on the table with a side of chicken masala pizza, our favourite. I tore off a slice before looking back into his tired eyes.

" The meeting was useless, went in said hi to senior Jabal glared at junior Jabal then walked it here" I lied, I have to.

"Next time tell me where you are, the day you dress up looking all nice and disappear for a good hour with no texts I think you're gone for good. Don't scare your old man like that" he scolded, he's right I shouldn't have. Stopping the conversation there we both began greedily munching on our food.

We were almost finished when I felt eyes burning into my non-existent soul, turning towards the window I held in a gasp at the sight. Stupid Andrei is stood right outside the takeaway leaning on his Mercedes whilst watching me intently.

For God's sake why.

Using a piece of tissue I wiped the sauce of my lips before standing up slowly, he needs to leave before dad sees him and gets worried.

"I'm just going to the toilet"I mumbled,  without waiting for his reply I quickly stalked towards the door, his gaze following my every move. Gently closing the shop door I turned towards him.

" what are you doing here Andrei?" I asked tiredly, he removed his body from the car and stood in front of me, his negative aura hitting me quickly.

" your bleeding Qalil" He spoke glancing down at a small cut on my right breast. It's fricken tiny! (Shorty)

"Why do you care, please leave me alone so I can have a nice dinner with my dad" I muttered harshly, he literally ruined the vibe. Looking back into the shop I sighed as dad was still eating calmly.

" I couldn't care less about you, I just need my job done. You have exactly 3 days to come up with a plan and present it to me. I don't take this shit lightly eehira so if it fails you and your team will be killed" he seethed.

"Killed dead?"
