Dipper's POV
"In this land of ours, there are many great pits. But none more bottomless than the bottomless pit. Which is you can see here is bottomless." Says Grunkle Stan.
This again? I think I'll pass. I look at Mabel and see her a little worried.
"Question: Is it bottomless?" Soos asks.
"*sigh* Kids, can one of you try explaining this to Soos?" Grunkle Stan commands.
"Grunkle Stan, I think Mabel and I will just go home." I say while looking at Mabel.
"Yeah, Grunkle Stan. We'll do something there." Mabel agrees.
"Why? Ya scared?" He grins.
"No, we're not. It's just..."
"Nah, what ever you say. Suit yourselves kids." He cuts off. I look at Mabel again and give her a look that says 'Will we tell him?', but she just shrugs. I think I'll tell him.
"...Uh, Grunkle Stan? Before we leave, can we warn you?"
"Warn me about what? Falling in this pit?" He says.
"Yeah. That. Don't ever fall in the pit. It might not bring you back." I warn.
"Nonsense. We'll never fall in this pit. We're not that stupid." He boasts.
"Just be careful, okay?" I say. He just nods and shoo us away. Me and Mabel walk back into the shack. I walk straight into the sofa while Mabel goes for the cashier table. *sigh* I really hope they will not fall.
*ring* *ring* *ring*
"I'll get it." Mabel shouts since she's the one nearest. I want to know who's on the phone, but I'm too lazy to stand up. I'll just sit here.
"Star?!" Mabel exclaims. Star? I did not see that coming. I stand up from where I was sitting and walk where Mabel is.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I guess we were out on a walk those days." Mabel apologizes. Why?
"Visit there...?" She looks at me. I give her a confused look. Before I can understand what she's trying to convey, she answers back on the phone.
"I don't think we can visit. But I will call you if we can."
"A week? Uhmm... we will think about it."
"Really? How were they?"
"Is that so? I hope to see them one day."
"Mhm... Oh? Good for them. -- A goat kid? It's getting interesting! I want to see them right now!"
"That's a great idea! But how is that gonna work?"
"Oooohh, ok. Thanks for that."
I can feel something is wrong. I look outside the window and see that it's dark outside. There are leaves flying outside blown by the wind. Then it snap me.
"Grunkle Stan!" I shout without thinking about it. Mabel abruptly look at me. She says goodbye to the phone and goes near me in an alarmed state.
"We need to check them." I say. Mabel nods. We both run outside to go back to where Grunkle Stan and Soos are. As we got there, we saw Soos pulling Grunkle Stan--who is throwing the Mystery Shack suggestion cards.
"Mr. Pines, we need to go back to the shack."
I knew leaving them was a bad idea. I run to the side of Grunkle Stan and push him. Mabel does the same.
"What are you kids doing here? I thought you were at the shack." He says.
"Not anymore," I answer.
"Grunkle Stan, we need to go back to the shack. The wind is slowly blowing us into the pit." Mabel tells him.
"I'm not yet done throwing these cards." He replies.
