Halloween-
Sam pinned Jessica to her living room wall and wrapped his arms around her lower body. Jessica tucked her left hand into his pants and the other hand tightly grabbed onto his shirt collar. He pressed himself up against her and passionately kissed her over and over.
They both breathed heavily, slowly running out of breath, but they didn't want to stop.
"Sam, I think the twins are up from their nap." Jessica says as she tries to stop
Sam lets it go on for another minute then releases himself off of her.
"Wow." He says
Jessica giggles then goes to the mirror to fix herself.
"I can't wait." He says coming up to her and giving her a gentle hug.
"Don't get too excited... if it happens-"
"When it happens" he insists
Jessica rolls her eyes and chuckles "it won't be that good. It's been a year... a year!" She chuckles
"I don't care... You know, sex is the least of my worries. I like what we have going on. Except for the fact that it's a big top secret." He chuckles
Jessica sighs "We've only been seeing each other for a month. I want to take it slow before we come out as a couple." She says
"I understand... I like that we have this to ourselves. I agree that we should just keep it to ourselves. I don't think anyone will be surprised, especially Danny. Let's keep that from him when he comes into town to save us grief!" Sam chuckles
"Nobody but my sisters and Danny knew that we kissed a few months back. But I agree. Between us for now. No letting Danny find out for the sake of our sanity." Jessica chuckles as she slowly walks up the stairs. Scarlett and Wyatt were bouncing around in their room. She wanted to get to them before they woke up Jack.
Before Jessica opened the door Sam stopped her for a moment. "Jess, I want this to work. If we take it very slow, we take it very slow. Whatever makes you happy, baby." He says
"Thank you.... now, get your booty downstairs. Pretend to be 'working'. Danny and Erin will be here any minute." Jessica smiles
Sam turns around and Jessica hits his butt as he runs down the stairs. When he's gone a big smile appears on her face. He brought her so much happiness.

Since Danny lived in Connecticut, he made sure he came back to Minnesota as much as possible to see Scarlett and Wyatt. Since they were still young Jessica wasn't ready to send them back with him. It was easier for him to come when he could since flying wasn't an issue for him.
It was Halloween and Danny was coming into town to see the kids and celebrate with them. He was bringing along his new lady friend, Erin. Jessica had never met her before but saw lots of pictures on Facebook. They just started dating too.
Jessica was hesitant for Danny to introduce her to the kids, but she tried not to sweat it too much.
Surprisingly, after a crazy past, Jessica and Danny were thriving as co-parents and friends. It was really healthy for the two of them and for the children. Jessica was glad they put their differences behind. Of course, everyone always kept a close eye on him.

"So, what does mommy have here? It looks like she has a kitten, fireman, and a little baby hippo!" she smiles
Scarlett, Wyatt, and Jack sat on the couch together after getting all dressed up for trick-or-treating.
