Chapter sixteen: Lilith's help

Lillian was babysitting Henry again because Regina and Emma were interrogating Mary Margret. Lily and Henry were both pacing around the room, Henry with his book in his hands and Lillian with the file about Kathrine's death. She kept on looking at every single word, hoping to find some sort of answer. She placed them back at the table and placed herself on the chair.

''This is impossible, I can't find anything to prove Mary Margret's innocents. Have you found anything in your book?'' Henry shook his head and took a seat in front of her.

''Nothing, i'm starting to think that we can't do anything against my mom.'' Lily gave him a small smile before standing up and kneeling next to him, placing an arm around his shoulders and giving him a kiss on his head.

''We'll find something Henry, I promise.''

-------------Once upon a time-------------

''Killian, please just leave...'' Dark Lilith told her older cousin. He looked at her, frowning before shaking his head. He crossed his arms and Lilith rose to her feet. ''I said -- leave.''

''I'm not leaving you with that bloody demon Lilith. Not now not ever.''

''Demon? Oh, that hurts my feelings Killian.'' Peter moved his hand to his heart and faked a hurt expression, making Lily giggle before turning back to Killian.

''If you won't leave, I will.'' With that she disappeared in front of their eyes, deeper into the forest.

-------------Once upon a time-------------

Henry and Lillian arrived at Emma's apartment and walked in when they saw the door open. Lily placed her bag on the floor, making Emma turn around in confusion.

''Henry, what are you doing here? Why aren't you in school?''

''We have to help Ms. Blanchard.'' Henry removed his coat before walking to Emma with Lillian on his side.

''I am helping her, that's why i'm searching the apartment. But you gotta go home.''

''Not gonna happen.'' Lily crossed her arms over her chest and smiled at Henry who did the same as his babysitter.

''Just stay out of the way.'' Emma argued with the two kids in front of her after a few seconds of reconsidering her options.

''So what are we looking for?'' Henry looked at the floor, hoping to find something.

''I'm trying to see if maybe someone broke in. Looking for a busted doorjambs, broken glass, muddy boot prints -- that kind of thing.'' Lillian gave a nod before walking into the kitchen, looking for a knife that looked like a hunting knife, but without success.

''So you think someone is setting her up?''

''It's the only thing that makes sense. The only problem is, nobody's got a motive''

''My mom does. She hates snow white.'' Henry smiled, happy that he was the one to figure all of this out in a matter of seconds. But is was crushed when Emma tilted her head.

''Hey, you wanted a motive.'' Lily argued with her.

''Well, I don't think 'she hates snow white' will hold up in a court.'' Emma let herself fall on the bed while Henry and Lily kept on looking in the apartment when they heard some sort of rattling coming from the air grate. Lily walked towards it and opened it, looking inside and lifting a hunting knife wrapped in an old newspaper.

''Dark Lilith, please I beg for your help.''  Lilith fell out of the sky in front of David, landing hard on her stomach.
