We were all in the V.I.P suite that Hunter reserved for us to stay at. His Mom and his family were here, my Mom, Dad, and Celine were—all to cheer on Hunter.
I was surprised Hunter offered my parents an expense-paid trip and tickets to the game, it was a kind gesture. I knew my Dad was excited this being the first football game he's been to in twenty years.
I was a little worried about the arrangement of Hunter's family in the same room with mine, but Hunter reassured me it would be fine.
He seemed to be right so far. Hunter's Mom was chatting up my Mom and my Dad was chatting up Hunter's cousin Sam.
"Is that her?" Celine whispered in my ear as she made eye contact with said person.
"Yep" I nodded
"I should go over there and tell her something," Celine said getting up before I pushed her right back down to her seat.
"Stop it Celine, nows not the place or time. We are here to support Hunter all other matters can be handled after" I said with finality in my voice
"Oh, so you want me to tell her something later?" Celine asks cocking a brow
"Celine stop it," I said laughing
"You are no fun," Celine said as I faced the field through the glass panel.
"I really hope he pulls through with this win Celine" I sighed
"He'll win, I know it" she nodded
"What if he doesn't? What would I say to him then? How will he react?" I asked worriedly
"I had those same thoughts last time he was here. I think he will pull through this time so don't worry so much. Second times the charm" his Mother said interrupting Celine and I's conversation
I nodded in response as I looked to the field and saw the teams making their way out.
The game about to begin.
