[ OOF, here, have an early update because I'm bored. There may or may not also be an update on Sunday, I dunno. It depends on whether or not I finish it.
Every time I look at this, I still find myself in disbelief at how many reads this is getting so quickly, and at how many people actually like this. I'm glad, because honestly, this is probably one of my favorite fanfics (that I have written) of all time? I can't wait to get to season 3!
I feel like my titles lately (from chapter 10 onwards) have been really good, and I'm proud of myself for that. I usually suck at naming chapters, so it's a relief when I find something that actually satisfies me. I really like this name especially.
"War Zone."
It gives me a certain... vibe... that I can't quite name. Like, at first glance, it makes you wonder, "A war zone? What does she mean by that?" And you won't fully understand the purpose of the name until you get to the end of the chapter.
Well, if you're incredibly smart, you could probably guess right off the bat, and that's fine, too. Titles just fascinate me for some reason. That's why this story is called "Scabulous."
"Scabulous" is not only a romance, but a story about a girl named Y/N L/N learning to accept herself with the help of her best friend/lover, Shouto Todoroki, along with some family members (Jobon L/N, Aiko Takahashi, and Kasumi L/N), Jobon having the largest impact out of the three. Each family member also gets their share of the spotlight, and while some succumb to the torment their scars bring (whether physical, psychological, or emotional), others learn to overcome them, eventually wearing them as reminders of how they suffered, but made it out okay in the end.
Not everyone gets their happy ending, because that's not how life works, but everyone does eventually find something worth fighting for.
And truly? In the end, that's the best thing they could ask for. ]

-WAS going to ask you out on a date, but immediately backed out after the "Mineta getting frozen to the lockers because Shouto was acting like a good boyfriend, even though he isn't your boyfriend, but he practically is at this point" incident. The boy didn't want to flipping DIE-
-Sometimes he flirts with you, but that's how he often gives compliments. You let him because he doesn't make you too uncomfortable and is careful to respect your boundaries. Plus, it feels nice. Not as nice as when Shouto does it (which is actually pretty rare, because let's be honest, the poor hot n' cold boyo doesn't know how to-) but it's close.
-He's in the same boat as Kirishima. Please be his friend.
-Came up with the idea of starting a "L/N Protection Squad" and is currently trying to make it a thing. Kirishima, Mina, and Ochaco are helping him out with it. They even managed to convince Bakugou, of all people, to join.
-The blonde had a really good reason for it. He just forgot what it was. Whoops!
