Jaemin's POV

I've always been a wonderer. My whole life. It's not that I got kicked out of my last home. That's not it at all.

I ran away.

I packed the things I needed, mostly food, in my backpack, and ran away in search of a new family and a new home. I even took my favorite bunny suit, and I've been wearing it ever since I left.

I've seen plenty of things in my journey so far. I've seen lots of animals, mostly bunnies, and I've seen some pretty flowers too. I picked some and put them in my bag.

Eventually it started getting dark, so I stopped for a while, and just gazed out at the distance beyond me.

After a few minutes of gazing, I saw a bunch of lights pop on all at once in a huge area.

It must be a very populated place! But I saw that there was another light that was farther away from the other lights, so I decided to venture there first.

I wonder why it's separate from the rest?

3 Hours Later

-

I'm very tired...

I've been walking for so long, but I'm almost there. But as soon as I got close to the light, it went out. I sighed, and continued to walk towards where the light used to be shining.

I got closer to it, and when my eyes finally adjusted to the darkness, I realized it was a house, one that was way nicer than my old one!

I didn't want to knock and disturb them, so I did what any stranger like myself would do.

I went to sleep by the front door.

17 Hours Later
Around 2pm

-

I woke up, but I wasn't outside anymore. Was I inside the house I slept in front of last night?

I stretched and yawned a little, and I suddenly heard movement from what I suspected was the kitchen.

"Oh~. You're awake~"

A tall man cheered, holding a small boy.

The boy had a pacifier in his mouth, and he was sleeping while the man held him. He looked about three or four to me. I'm six, so he's either two or three years younger than me.

Anyway.

I waved at the man, and he came and sat down next to me.

"Wher I am?"

I asked, tilting my head to the side.

"You were asleep by my front door. I was worried, so I brought you inside. But where did you come from? Why were you out there alone?"

"Wan away"

"Really? You're the first kid I've met that actually ran away from their home. But why did you run away?"

"My famiwy was abusive. Sometimes they hurt me, so I wan away"

"And you started looking for a new home and family I suppose?"

I nodded.

"Well then, welcome to the family~"

"Weally~????"

I asked with disbelief.

"Of course little one~. You can stay with me and your four new brothers~"

He cheered, and ruffled my hair.

"What's your name by the way?"

"Na Jaemin, but I wike Nana or MinMin~"

"Ok Nana~. This little napping cutie right here is one of your younger brothers. His name is Park Jisung, and he's the youngest. Your other brothers are napping like Jisung is, but I'll introduce you to them when they wake up, ok?"

"Otay~. Can I go outside to pway?"

"Sure~. Just don't go too far from the house. I'll be watching you anyway, so if you start to go too far, I'll call you back~"

I nodded, and he let me outside.

30 Minutes Later

I met another bunny and picked more flowers while I played by myself.

I got a little bored after a while, and I laid down in the grass and looked up at the clouds. I saw lots of different shapes, like baby chicks, dolphins, kittens, and hearts.

I think my new family is going to be really nice~.

"Help! Help me pwease!"

I suddenly heard small cries for help in the distance.

I looked around, until I saw someone dangling from a tree on a hill close by.

I looked to see if the man was watching me. He wasn't looking for the time being, so I quickly went up the hill, and soon came face to face with a boy that was dangling upside down.

"Hi~. I Jaemin~"

"Hi Jaemin~. Can you help me pwease?"

"Sure~"

I examined him and realized that there was something wrapped around his leg, keeping him tied onto a tree branch.

It was a thing that had a long chain, with two circular rectangles on both ends. I think they were called nunchucks?

What's a boy this age doing with nunchucks???

I began pulling on one end of the nunchucks, harder each time, until the branch finally snapped. We both went tumbling down the hill, and right back to the house.

Hopefully the man didn't notice. He hasn't come to see what happened yet.

I suddenly realized that the boy was hovering over me, and was admiring the house, until he looked back down at me.

"Sowwy Jaemin..."

"It otay~. Hoo you by the way?"

He quickly got off of me, and helped me up, smiling as he did so.

"I Jeno~"
