A Different Way To Finding Each Other

Surprise Homecoming

Nathan Daniel Adams got off the plane and took a taxi to Robert Quinn's mansion and touched the doorbell and Robert answered shocked. "NATE!"

"Can I crash here a few days? I want to surprise everyone?"

"Yeah and I can throw a party and not tell them why?" Robert asked. Nate nodded. "Come in."

"Thanks and it's been a long time," Nate replied. "I know my mama was upset that I added longer time to my deployment. How have you been and how are the kids?"

"I'm good and the kids are good too," Robert replied. "So I have the triplets for dinner tonight."

"Oh," Nate added. "Those three can't keep a secret, especially Callie."

"So here is my plan. Go to Hawaii till Saturday and you can rest and come back and you can use my jet to go there and to come back."

Nate smiled. "I think I will do that and relax. I just can't believe Mike was with an ex convict back in prison and he has twins with her? Who helps him?"

"He is on his own in that regard. Ian and Isabella are allergic to cats and can't take medication."

"Sucks," he replied. "I heard about Jesus and Mariana?"

"Jesus was fine, but Mariana is jealous of girls and hates and hurts them."

"Sucks! My mama said she hurt Callie?"

"Yup and we finally forbade Mike and Ana  to bring her and so in the end they all stopped coming over. It was sad, but Callie is my daughter and Mike's girlfriend and her twins aren't family. Jesus got adopted and Mariana last I heard is in Arizona to give her better chances. Hope it works."

"What did she do to Callie?"

"Pushed her in the deep end of the pool, pushed her off her bike and pushed her off the steps to the slide."

"Wait? What?" Nate asked. "She seems like the devil in disguise."

"Tell me about it and she blames Callie for not being able to be in a foster home if the foster parent have daughters and how her and Jesus are separated."

"I don't remember her, but I dislike her already."

"She's a piece of work and is Red Flagged in the system. She can't be in a foster home if the foster parents have daughters."

"Thank God Lena and Stef aren't foster parents it would suck and where would they keep them?"

"I know right?" Robert asked. "The triplets go first for me and always will. Plus even if they were foster parents, Mariana can't be in a foster home with daughters and Jesus is adopted."

Robert went to make a phone call and Jeffrey came to pick up Nate and take him to the airport and use Robert's Jet to go to Hawaii. Nate slept on the Jet ride and rested what felt like he hadn't in months or years.

Robert picked up his kids on their regular Wednesday night dinner and they went to Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steak Burgers and they each got a combo meal and after the sweet custard and it was good. They all got soda. 

"I miss Uncle Nate. It's been a long time. Grams says he might have a beard."

"A beard?" her two big womb mates asked. "Gross."

"Gross? It is part of being a man," their dad replied. 

"Not for me," Caleb added. "Um daddy can Wyatt come over?"

"When?" Robert asked. "I hope not for the weekend."

"Maybe another man night?"

"Give it a few weeks," he added. "It would need to be with your brothers too and their dads and Wyatt can't be in your room."
