So Wattpad Books has decided to make I'm a Gay Wizard into a print novel.
I know most writers cringe at the idea of showing off early versions of their novels, but Wattpad is nothing if not a learning tool. I wrote Gay Wizard two years ago as a part of NaNoWriMo and stuck it on Wattpad, but my work on the novel never stopped, not even after I won a Watty.
As a writer, I pride myself in my ever-evolving writing skills. We are, as creatives, always learning to strengthen our craft, and in the two years since winning my Watty, I've been working hard to sharpen the novel and make the writing shine.
Functionally, this version of Gay Wizard & the final version, which is set for release on 10/29/2019, are completely different books with some similar overarching themes.
