Chapter 38:

Jazmine
A week later...

I sighed as Karma begin crying. When Jayceon isn't here it's like she senses it and cries twice as much. Jay has been down since Kjayy said that to him so he's barely been around so I have to deal with three kids myself most of the time.

"Yo!" I heard X shout as he came in the front door.

"Hey," I mumbled.

"What's wrong with you?" X asked me as he picked up Kaine.

"Jay isn't here and I'm left dealing with three kids." 

"That's why I came over to see what the fuck is up, that nigga be at the trap all the time, just smoking. When he been laid back on his family shit lately."

"Kjayy throw the controller at his TV because Kaine turned the game off. Jay jacked him up so Kjayy said, I miss when it was just me and mommy you should take these babies and go." I finished with a sigh.

"Come here Kjayy!" X yelled.

"No, I already had a conversation with me," I said to X.

I had to have a sit down with Kjayy and explain that Kaine is still a baby and as much as we may not like it younger siblings especially when they're smaller are going to do things we don't like but it's not always on purpose. I also had to explain how words can be hurtful so we try not to say things out of anger.

"I'm still going to say something to him," X said.

"Well go easy on him he already feels bad," I said.

X face relaxed and he nodded.

When Kjayy got downstairs X asked, "Why did you say that to your dad?"

"I didn't mean it," Kjayy said.

After him and X had a talk he came over to me.

"You know you're my big baby right?" I asked wrapping my arm around Kjayy when he came cuddling up next to me and Karma.

"Yeah."

"My big baby forever and ever and don't you forget it," I said tickling him making him laugh.

"No, mommy, stop," Kjayy said laughing moving away then running off upstairs.

Jay came through the door a little while later with pizza and snacks.

I ran and hugged him as soon as he put the pizza down almost knocking him over. He laughed and grabbed my ass. "What's up, Jaz?"

"I missed you," I said.

"I missed yo thick ass too. I just needed my own time for a while, I'ma stop going missing on y'all."

"You better because if I don't get to go missing, you don't either. We are parents first and forever ain't no constant coming and going," I said.

"I got you, Jaz."

"And Karma is a damn cry baby when you're not here."

"A true daddy's girl," Jay said smiling all proud.

"Oh and uh, Jay?" He lifts his eyebrow as he got plates out. "He didn't mean it."

"I know, but it still hurts to hear my youngin say that to me. He's mine, just as much as Kaine and Karma is mine."

"Dad?" Kjayy said making us turn towards the kitchen doorway where he stood looking sad.

"What's up little man?" Jay asked.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it. I was just mad. I love you, Kaine and Karma just as much as mom and would hate for you to leave," Kjayy said.

"We're good," Jay said putting his fist out for Kjayy to pound it and Kjayy happily does.

"No, hug," I said standing there with my hands on my hips staring at them.

"Mommy, you're little." Kjayy laughed making Jay laugh too. Kjayy is about to be five and already half of me.

"No, you're just going to be tall and Jay is already tall," I said rolling my eyes going to get my other babies.

"So about my TV.." Kjayy said as he drifted off at the end trying to make his sweetest smile he could.

"Man get outta here, Kjayy." Jay said laughing and I couldn't help but laugh too. We were all in our room laid up on our bed watching tv.

Kjayy knew he messed up by breaking that TV because Jay was going to make him wait for a new one. When we know Jay got more than enough money for a new one.

"When's the wedding?" Kjayy asks hugging me.

"Tomorrow," Jay said.

"You play all day," I said.

"Nah, real shit we waited long enough we should go out of the country and have a vacation slash wedding. We need it," Jay said.

"But what about everybody else? They'll be mad if we get married without them and what about the kids?" I asked.

"They'll just be mad I guess. The kids gonna be coo. Karma goes to her doctor appointment tomorrow so as long as we get the okay she should be good to go. Let's go for real."

"I just can't take you serious," I said staring at him.

"I'm about call to get the private plane ready, where you wanna go?"

"You're really really serious?"

"Deadass."

"I wanna go to JAMAICA!" I shouted jumping up carefully since Karma is in my arms.

"Jamaica here we come then," Jay said smiling down at me before putting his phone to his ear as he walked out of the room.
