"hello?" Meg said, slowly waking up.

"hey." Matty sighed, knowing he woke her up.

"what's up?" She asked, turning on her lights.

"it's stupid, i should have waited to ask you. it's not that important." Matty frowned, his accent making Meg smile.

"No, you're fine, what is it?" Meg asked again, hearing another sigh from Matty.

"I just can't sleep. I'm staring out the window of my bunk at the cars passing by. it's impossible to think clearly." He admitted, trying not to be too loud. He bit his lip as he waited for a response. "Like i said, this was stupid. I shouldn't have called you."

"I'm glad you di-" The call ended before she could finish, leaving Meg to sit in her bed awake at 3am.
