019: Lunar Crown Hotel (VI)

A/N: Nhhh... I think it sounds weird with just first name, so I will start referring to the characters by their full name. It just makes more sense that way, and to be honest I was just being lazy and not wanting to type their last names all the time. Kek. Tiredly, he rests his eyes after regurgitating everything in which he was fed and what had been forcefully swallowed in his stomach. His pale countenance turned deathly white, being even scarier than before, but it didn't look so bad considering that he was no longer in danger. Yunsheng hastily makes his way over and takes off his coat. He kneels down on one knee and removes Ouyang Feiyi's wet one, wrapping the tiny figure in it. His eyes glances at his friend with a grateful light lit in them; without him, his younger brother would've already visited the yellow river.

Ying Zhuqing lets out a deep sigh of relief seeing Shinyi finally become responsive, even if is quite a sight to see. He was afraid that his youngest grandson would never wake up. Narrowing his eyes at the family of three, he harrumphs "Hmph. Come with me, we need to discuss some matters in private."

Xiu Yunsheng gets up and strides over, "Laoye, I will go as well."

Nodding his head, Ying Zhuqing doesn't object as the matter concerned him as well. Feiyi brushes back the stray strand of hair sticking to the side of Shinyi's face, his expression was unreadable. He hands him over to Yijun who had sported a worried face the entire time, giving his word, "Take care of him for me, we'll go to the hospital after."

Yijun has a surprise look on his face, but he quickly recollects himself and nods. "Okay."

He understands that spending time with them, Feiyi naturally developed a bond and regards them as his younger siblings. Now with someone intentionally causing harm, the innate protective instincts would be evoked. He saunters over, "I'm coming as well."

A young man walks out of the crowd. His face resembles that of Feiyi's but his facial features are softer, making him seem more approachable and his eyes are an amber shade instead of amethyst. He takes off his coat and places it on Feiyi's shoulder, "Take my coat, didi. I'll go accompany the young boy and his siblings."

Ouyang Feiyi gives a thankful nod, "Thank you, gege."

His eyes refocuses on the little parasite. She has yet to change from the last time he's seen her. Ouyang You raises an eyebrow at his younger brother as he hasn't seen him this angry before. A young looking woman follows behind Ouyang You, "Ah Yi, laoye and muqin will follow as well."

Shen Liqin is worried about her son and Yunsheng, as Ouyang Feiyi doesn't take interest in many things and surprisingly, he has repeatedly paid attention to the children from the first wife of the Xiu Family. Basing on her personal experience from the handful of encounters she's had with the oldest child of Ying Ye's, Yunsheng is amiable and considerate, and a dear friend to Ouyang Feiyi. Their bond was deep enough to rival the brotherly bond between Ouyang You's and his', and naturally, as his mother, she will stand by her son's decision. Ouyang Huiliang's and her decision falls in line ninety percent of the time, so even without asking her father-in-law, she knows his answer already.

Ying Zhuqing only gazes at Ouyang Feiyi, Shen Liqin, and Ouyang Huiliang before greeting them with a nod. Soon the paramedics and police arrive, they take Xiu Shinyi and places him the ambulance while reports are taken down by the police, after inquiring information from Ying Zhuqing about the situation. Xiu Yijun is sitting in the ambulance with Xiu Shinyi while Xiu Qiuyue and Xiu Shunyu are sitting in the car with Ouyang You.

Back inside of Ying Zhuqing's private room, a sequestered war was occurring. Xiu Tianyu shouts with anger and slaps the lacquered table roughly, "Preposterous!"

Ying Zhuqing is unfazed by his outlash and clasps his hands together, "Do you even know why I didn't bother to have the charges pressed?"

Xiu Tianyu sneers, "Because there's not enough evidence to prove that our LiLi attempted such an atrocious crime. You're just slandering her."
