♚Chapter 10♚

You fluttered your eyes open to see a blinding white light. Once your eyes adjusted you saw you were laying in a hospital bed. You heard the soft beep of a heart monitor and looked down to see yourself hooked to it. 

You looked over to your left and saw a sleeping figure in a chair in the corner.

"Jia?"

The sleeping girl stirred and opened her eyes. 

"Y/N!"

She got off the chair and sat on her knees beside you

"Are you feeling okay?"

You nodded

"You came all the way here from Busan?"

She nodded

"Of course! Your mom called and I got on the train as soon as I could."

You smiled sleepily at her before coming to a realization

"Dahyun! Is she okay?"

Jia nodded.

"The doctors said she'll be fine. She has a broken ankle and a minor concussion, but they said she'll recover fine, however."

"yes?"

"She will have to go through a surgery and they don't know how well her body will react."

"Why?"

"They didn't say, I tried to get them to tell me but they said they couldn't since I'm not a relative."

You nodded.

"Can I see her?"

"I'll go ask."

She left your side and you watched her leave the room. You let out a sigh and covered your face in your hands. You couldn't believe it. One second you were laughing with her and the next the both of you are in the hospital.

Jia walked back into the room, and gave you a smile. 

"They said you can, but they want me to help you walk."

You nodded and she gently lifted you off the bed, you wrapped your arm around her shoulder and she walked you down the hall. 

"Dahyun."

Dahyun was laying there in the bed asleep. It brought tears to your eyes to see her. Her hamster cheeks your cut and bruised, her lip had a stitch in it, her head was bandaged, her leg was in a cast elevated by a sling. 

You covered your hand with your mouth and Jia gave you a small hug. She helps you over to her and you grabbed her cold hand. 

"Dahyunnie."

You were quiet enough to not wake her up, you knew it was best to make sure she rested. 

"I'm so sorry this happened Y/N-ah"

You smiled weakly at her
