The next morning Bradley woke before her. For the first second he looked around the unfamiliar room then to Stefani. He couldn't help but leave out a smile. The way she was curled up, her hair spread around her face, the sun peaking through the half closed curtains showing off her perfect sallow skin. This was heaven he thought. This right here. If he could wake up to this every single morning, he'd never want more.He kissed her hand. Which was rested by his shoulder. And then held it himself. And just took it all in. He's waited for so long for this to even be possible and now it's very much so happening.
She opened her own eyes slightly. To see bradley across from her. Her heart did what seemed like a jump, just by the sight of him. He was beautiful and he was lying there staring at her. She felt wanted. "Morning." She smiled shyly.
"Morning Stef." He pulled her over closer to him, where she rested her head on his chest. His arm wrapped around her playing with her hair.
"I caught you just staring at me while I was asleep, I don't know Cooper seems kinda weird to me..." She raised her eyebrows making him laugh.
"You just look so beautiful when you sleep. Well really when you do anything, asleep, awake, you're always beautiful, insanely perfect." He ranted a little, which made her muzzle her head further into his neck. "You're the sweetest." She said kissing his neck as she did so.
"This feels good doesn't it." She rubbed his cheek, making him scrunch his nose nodding. "Feels so right." He smiled.
They both knew it wasn't going to be smooth sailing from here on in. They still had to discuss what was going to happen with the public when they get a hold of it, what the cast were going to think. And so on. There was so much they had to deal with. They only have 2 weeks of filming left once they go back. And then they'd have to deal with promo and premiers, they knew it was going to be a messy situation.
"How are we going to deal with all this." She sighed almost not even wanting to bring it up.
"I honestly don't know."
"I think we should not tell anyone yet anyway, it's so new and if people found out we just ended things with our partners and then immediately got together they'd take it the wrong way. You get me?"
He nodded, agreeing. "Yeah that's probably the best idea."
"Plus I still need to ease the whole Christian thing, and it would be unfair to just rub this all in his face, he's still really pissed at me." She said, a hint of guilt still in her voice. He knew it pained her to be the reason for someone else's pain. He rubbed her hand leaving her know it'll be okay.
Right now life felt perfect. But they both knew as soon as they leave this house, Stefani has Christian to deal with, they have lots of things to hide for the movies sake and for their ex partners sakes. They knew this was going to be a behind closed doors kind of relationship for a while. And for right now moments like this were enough for them.
"It'll be okay. Right now everything is still messy and uncertain, Christian will be okay, and so what if we have to keep on the down low for a while, we'll keep it quiet until after release date or something. It will be nice to keep it to ourselves for a while. Don't worry about it, everything will fall into place."
She smiled nodding, he always knew what to say. "You're a beautiful person Bradley." She doesn't know why that's the response that left her mouth, but it was.
Not long after Bradley took a shower, followed by Stefani. She of course taking much longer. She got out with her towel around her to smell of breakfast being cooked downstairs. She made her way immediately down the stairs pausing at the curve of the stairs when she got a glimpse of Bradley making eggs, singing quietly. This was everything to her, she couldn't help but smile. She made her way into the kitchen holding her towel. "What have you got up to?" She smirked.
