Chapter 30:The Cure

Namjoon's POV

"The cure was control."

I paused, waiting for everyone to complain about not understanding. As expected, they started whining about not understanding what he meant.

Yoongi's POV

I was getting impatient. It was normal for Namjoon to take his time and explain but I was not in a good mood today. "Namjoon-ah, can you please hurry up? Tae might come here any minute now."

"Ah sorry hyung, " Namjoon said, as he continued with the explanation. "Like I said, the cure was control. So, the more the powers are used, the harmful it is for the body. What the old lady did was, she learned to control the powers. She learnt how to avoid using them. Apparently it took her some time but very soon, she could control her abilities at will."

Hmmmm, I thought. Controlling his powers at will, huh? How though? 

I decided to voice my thoughts but Seokjin Hyung beat me to it.

"Joonie, how did she learn to control them? Isn't that the most important part?" Jin hyung asked. Wait a minute... Joonie?! Are they dating or something? I couldn't help but smirk. 

Jin's POV

Oh my god. Did I just call him Joonie? Urghh! I'll deal with it later. Now to the more pressing matters at hand.

I turned to Namjoon, who was blushing intensely and asked, "How did she do it?"

Before he could answer, Taehyung came running towards us. "Hyuuuuunnggggg I can go home!"  He hugged each one of us and started dragging us outside.

I hope he gets better, was my only thought as we made our way to car park. A while later, we are safely in our dorm.

No One's POV

Everyone was waiting for Taehyung to go to his room and rest so that they could have a discussion about the cure.

Soon enough, Taehyung grumbled about feeling sleepy because of the sleeping pills given by the doctor. "Yoongi hyung, I'm going to sleep early today. Will you sleep with me tonight? You can come later." And with that, he sleepily dragged his TATA plushie and went to his bedroom. 

After Jungkook checked if the coast was clear, everyone gathered around Namjoon. 

"Guys, about Taehyung's cure, on the way home, I went through that woman's story again. Found some good news. She has written a blog on how she learned to control her powers," Namjoon said, cheerily, gaining pats on the back from the rest. 

"So, how did she do it?" 

Taehyung's POV

I was on my way to my room when I heard shuffling noises from where I came from. I slowly made my way back down. To my surprise, everyone was gathered together, as if they were discussing something I wasn't supposed to hear.

I couldn't help but listen, my eyes widening at each word. I was too curious to not join in. "So, how did she do it?" I asked. 

Everyone gasped as they turned around to face me. 

"Tae," Yoongi hyung started to say. I stopped him. 

"Hyung, it's ok. I understand what you guys are doing. And I wanna help. I wanna learn to control my abilities. Coz, I wanna live with you guys a little while longer. A little bit more time is all I need." I said as I hugged Yoongi hyung, with a painful smile on my face.
