Matty woke up to the phone first, hoping that the ringing was just an alarm he could hit snooze for. Taking a glance at the girl sleeping next to him, more like snuggled into his side with her head on his chest, he didn't want to wake her up.

Instead of waking her up, he answered the phone for her.

"Hello?" He whispered, trying to be quiet.

"Where's meg?" Ashley asked, completely unfazed by Matty answering.

"she's asleep at the moment." Matty explained, readjusting his arm around the girl.

"oh..oh-um..can.. can you tell her to call me once she's awake?" Ashley asked, suddenly nervous.

"Sure?" Matty agreed, only for the call to end immediately after.

He placed the phone down, kissing the top of Meg's head. He scrolled through his phone, smiling as Mayhem laid on his other side.
