Chapter 24

Cassidy's POV

I don't what was really going on all I remembered was passing out and now I'm in some strange white room, like seriously nothing's in here it's all just white and I was seriously confused.

"Where am I?" I asked myself but someone else answered.

"In the state of life and death" a very familiar voice said, but it couldn't be.

"Who are you?" I asked the strange, but very familiar voice.

"You couldn't have forgotten about me" the voice said again before coming into view and I felt tears form in my eyes.

"Father??" I asked and he gave me his familiar smile and I ran over to him and hugged him, and if your wondering what happened to him, he died durning a really important/risky case dealing with a gang and they got to deep into the Gangs business and they shot him...

"You need to wake up sweet heart" he said putting a strand of my hair behind my ear.

"Why, the world would be better off without me" I said looking at my feet.

"Don't say that, there's a lot of people who love and care for you, and right now their a mess without you" he said and I still looked at my feet. "Keep that in mind, because your friends tried everything they could do to protect you, and they still can, and you dying won't doing anything better it will make them think your death was their fault because they couldn't protect you, and anyways you are my daughter your stronger than this" he said and I let his words sink in before I looked up at him with tears forming in my eyes.

"But I lost everything dad, I lost you, Jackson and mom won't even talk to me" I said and he put his hands on my shoulders.

"Listen to what I said you have the others that care for you a lot their like your other family" he said and he was right because they were my other family. "But before you make any decision there is someone else that wants to talk to you" he said taking a step back, and I felt tears run down my face when I saw the person.

"Mommy!!" he said running and hugging my leg, and I burst down into tears and got down to his level and hugged him. "Why are you crying?" he asked.

"I just miss you so much" I said pulling him back and looking him the eyes with a smile.

"I missed you to" he said. "Mommy what happened to me??" he asked and the memories started replying in my head and I felt more tears run down my face.

"Someone hurt you and took you away from me" I told him.

"What are you doing here?" he asked me.

"Mommy just wanted to come see you" I lied to him because he doesn't need to know the truth.

"Where Aunt Serenity, Daddy, Uncle Cam and everyone??" he asked.

"They are at home" I told him.

"Mommy are you okay?" he asked and I shook my head.

"No I'm not but you don't need to worry about it okay" I reassured him and he nodded his head.

"Okay! Come play with me!!" he said dragging me of to this little play area I didn't know was here, and sat down with him and played with him, but just watching him made my heart break more, because this was my baby, my life, and he was taken away from me and I feel like a bad parent.. "Mommy are you dying?" Jackson asked, causing me to snap out of my thoughts.

"Where'd you hear that from?" I asked him.

"Grandpa and I hear people crying over you" he said and I sighed and looked down before looking back up at him.

"Ya mommy's dying" I said and his face changed to panic.

"You can't die! you need to live and be with aunty and daddy!" he said sitting In my lap and hugging me.

"I know but I don't wanna leave you" I told him.

"I don't want you to leave either but you can't leave everyone else" he said and I felt like crying.

"I don't know what to do anymore" I said and I than felt a hand on my shoulder and i looked up to see my dad, and I just stated crying. "I'm so lost and confused, I don't know what to do in this world anymore, I've lost almost everyone that were my actual family, and I fell like I can't protect anyone anymore, and seeing Jackson makes me feel like his death is all my fault, and m-maybe if I did something he would still be in the real world, I'm just a horrible parent and friend, and girlfriend, and why should I stay? everyone wants me gone and not just out of the state they want me dead and it's putting everyone I love and care about in danger" I said now in tears.

"Mommy don't cry" Jackson said but I couldn't stop crying.

"You need to stay because your the only one that keeps everyone grounded, and a lot of people love you especially Serenity she might seem fine and everything but she's not she needs you to be there because your like her sister, and Matthew he might have made mistakes but he's still your true love, and he cares way to much about you, Cameron he's like your brother he's always there for you, and all the guys mean a lot to you, and if trying to find a reason to live do it for me, Jackson and everyone that cares about you, do it especially for Jackson I know he would want you to live and carry on with your life, and Jackson's death isn't your fault" my dad said but I still In tears and I heard everything he was saying and I looked at Jackson and he gave me those eyes that make you melt, and I took a shaky breath In and than released it. "It's up to you Cassey, but just think about what I said before it's to late" he said and I just say there and started thinking about what he was saying because he had a point I can't make the people who were there for me in anymore pain, I need to help them be grounded and everything, they are my family they all have a special part in my heart like my dad and I just realized that so I looked down at a sleeping Jackson, and that's when I decided to make up my mind...

I probably brought back a lot of emotions didn't i??? Lol oh well but anyways Surprise!!! I'm back after like weeks of not updating, just I've been busy and still haven't been knowing what to write. (Sorry if it's short!!)

Also I wanna know What did you think about me bringing back Jackson in this chapter????
