BABY THREW HER PAPER PLANE across the room, while her best friend smiled on in support. The two were making a supply of paper planes and wanted to show them off to Emma and Sean
"Hey, guys, check this out." The blonde called the two, letting them admire the large stack of planes they made instead of doing their work
JT picked up the airplane in the girl's hand and threw it, watching as it grazed Mr. Simpson. The two preteens slowly sunk into the safety of their chairs, terrified that they might get caught.
"Okay, so who's the paper airplane genius?" Mr. Simpson asked, picking the paper up off of the floor
Liberty stood up with no hesitation, raising her hand to take claim for the incident. Baby looked over at JT, shocked that she would take the fall, but all the boy could do was shrug in response, "Liberty, this is yours?"
"Yes, and I apologize profusely." She confirmed
"Well, don't let it happen again." He warned, before sitting back down, while Liberty turned to at JT with eyes full of admiration.
The Roberts girl giggled when she realized Liberty had taken the blame because she liked him. The girl had to give her props for going that far for JT, but said boy smacked her shoulder when he spotted her snickering

"WHAT WAS WITH LIBERTY? SHE WAS ACTING TOTALLY WEIRD." Manny asked the group as they left Simpson's classroom
"She is weird." JT agreed, shrugging on his backpack, while his glasses friend continued to speculate, "Why would, Liberty, who's never missed a day before, put her neck on the line, and for you?"
"Hello? Liberty has a major crush on JT." Baby laughed like it was the most obvious thing in the world, thought confusing the short boy even further, "What?"
"Come on, its so obvious." The blonde continued, rolling her eyes at the boy's obliviousness
JT just shook his head before turning to walk down the hall again, before he was blocked by Liberty holding up the airplane the duo had made, "I took it when Mr. Simpson wasn't looking."
"Thanks, you didn't have to take the blame today in homeroom." JT thanked the girl, giving her a small smile
"You know, you get in trouble so much, someone has to watch your back." She grinned, batting her eyes at the boy in front of her
"Yeah. Me and Toby." Baby mumbled, trying to hide her own laughter, while Emma spoke up to defend the Van Zandt girl, "That's very sweet of you, Liberty."
"Oh, and by the way it's time the Grape Vine has a student of the week, so I choose you." Liberty randomly brought up as she pointed a finger in JT's direction
