Y/n's POV:

After our date at the cafe, we walked around for a while. It was a quiet walk, but comforting.

I looked over at him, taking in his sharp jawline and thoughtful eyes. He looked like he was deep in thought.

I nudged him with my elbow to snap him out of it.

He flinched.

"What's wrong? Did something happen?"

I laughed at his sudden burst of panic.

"No you idiot! You were zoned out so I wanted to ask what was on your mind."

He chuckled nervously. "Oh...yeah."

I tilted my head waiting for an answer, but never received one. He just sighed and continued to walk ahead, leaving me behind in shock.

I ran to catch up with him.

"Hey, why did you ignore me?"

He bit his lip and kept quiet.

I rolled my eyes.

"Helloooo, earth to a stubborn childdd."

No response.

"Are you kidding me?"

From behind him, I could see his body shaking.

'Is he crying? What the heck'

"Uhhhh, are you okay?"

He turned around, laughing.

"Keep talking, maybe one day you'll say something smart."

I smirked.

"So you wanna play this game?"

He just smirked back.

"You know, I've seen people like you, but I had to pay admission."

His eyes widen at my insult, but he soon burst out lauging.

"If I had a face like you, I'd sue my parents."

I snickered.

"I don't know what makes you stupid, but it really works."

He fixed his posture, preparing a comeback.

"I could make a monkey out of you, but why should I take all the credit?"

I cracked my knuckles.

'This boy is going down'

"How would you like to feel the way you look?"

He snorted, making me laugh until my sides hurt.

"That was....so....ugly..."

He looked dead into my eyes, reaching my soul.

"Fellows like you don't grow from trees, they swing from them."

I snapped.

"Your butt must be jealous of all the crap that comes out of your mouth."

"Everyone's entitled to act stupid once in a while, but you're abusing your privilage."

"Sorry, I didn't understand you. I don't speak bullcrap."

"I was gonna give you a nasty look but I see you already have one."

"Are you constipated? I'm worried because of how full of crap you are."

After that comment, we had a small staring contest.

"You may have one the first battle, but I'll win the next."

I chuckled, looking up at the sky.

"It's getting late, we should go home."

He looked up too.

"Yeah, I'll take you home."

I intertwined our fingers, leading him back to my car.

'This was the best day ever...'
