AFTER ZIPPING HER BACKPACK up, Stella Harrington quickly, and quietly, tiptoes downstairs. She stops in the kitchen to grab an apple and crackers. After filling a water bottle, she silently opens the door to the mud room and slips on her white converse.
She takes one last look around the mud room before exiting her house through the side door. After letting herself out, she takes the spare key which is hidden under the mat, and locks the door.
Stella runs over to her bike which is parked in car port on the side of the house. She hops on the leather seat and takes off into the night, in hopes of finding her lost friend, Will Byers.
