Lena Adams Foster knew how much her three baby bugs missed their daddy because she missed him too, but what she didn't like to see was her three baby bugs withdrawn, sad and hurt all the time. She hated to see them like that as she bit her lip. This was a different type of hurt.
A week had passed since Robert left and he left a huge whole in the triplets lives and hers as well. No matter what, she will always love him and if she never would have met Stef and if Robert had come back, she would have taken him back in a heartbeat. But that never happened as she made breakfast and it is now January 11th and a Friday.
"Hi mama," the triplets whispered since they were the last to get up. She saw them and hugged them tight and kissed their foreheads and ruffled her two little boys hair as they gave her the eye and she spoke in Callie's ear as her baby girl smiled a tad bit.
"Morning my three baby bugs. What should we have today?" Lena asked.
"Bacon, eggs, sausage, ham, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, waffles," they replied as they listed off all of their favorite foods as their older brothers and their friends looked on in shock as did Lena.
Stef, Nate and Papa Thomas came up with a plan and they remembered Golden Corral has breakfast on the weekends. "I will call my mom and dad," Stef replied.
"I will call my mom and dad too," Nate added. "And I will let Timothy know. He's in the bathroom."
"I will tell my Lena," Papa Thomas replied. "Anyone else?"
"The Riviera Rossi family if they are up to it as well as Mike, Nicole and the twins?" Stef asked.
Stef sighed. "The Riviera Rossi family are out of town."
"Mike, Nicole and the twins?" Nate asked.
"They are both working and Mike wants us to take the twins, but I said no."
"Maybe just family?" Timothy asked. "What about the Quinn's?"
"I called them and they are in agreement," Stef added. "But it is only Robert's parents. His grandparents have plans."
Lena was at a loss of what to do when Stef, Nate, Papa Thomas and Timothy walked into the kitchen. "What's wrong?" Lena asked.
"We are all going to Golden Corral. They have everything and we called my parents, your parents and Robert's parents. They are on board."
"What about dad, Nicole and the twins?" Brandon asked.
"They declined since they have to work," the blonde added as she sighed.
"But?" Bradley asked.
"They want us to take the little twins."
"And are we?" AJ asked.
"No. Their parent or parents need to be there for safety reasons."
All the kids eyed Lena and she didn't want to be the bad guy. "Golden Corral has everything the triplets asked for."
"YES!" the kids replied.
"Go get ready," Lena added as the kids were still in pajamas.
"Can we invite friends?" Jack asked.
"NO!" the moms replied. He nodded and left the kitchen.
"But moms?" Jack asked in a whine.
"We aren't babysitting."
Fifteen minutes later, all the kids were showered or bathed and dried and dressed as they all went downstairs and waited for the moms and the rest of the adults.
