Where do I begin...
We have known each other not long
But we stay up late talking on our phones
We ask how our days go by and
Yet in reality we never stop to say a 'Hi'
You have called me your friend
And so have I
Yet how is it that we never look each other in the eyes
It is beautiful just the way it is the way we connect
And I love that we never bother with 'goodbyes'
For we know tomorrow shall come and we will meet again
But in the end you are you
And I am I
It is you who left me in the end for her
As I stood there and whispered OUR first and last goodbye...
