It doesn't matter what you think you are
It doesn't matter whether you're near or farYou shall always hold a piece of me
Whether or not we are to ever beTwo hearts were one and now split in two
With a wound so large what am I to do?Two vessels passing one another in the night
To love you is wrong, but it feels so rightI hang on every single word you speak
With you is sunshine without you it's bleakI do not wish just for your hand to hold
I wish for the privilege to see you grow oldI'll be waiting for you until the bitter end
With my death rattle my love I'll send
