The day had passed by fast, or maybe it was just the boring subjects that were being taught, but despite the circumstances Jeongin had finished his homework in time.
Leaving the school, he sighed. He didn't know how long he could keep in his feelings about Chan. School started to get more stressful than ever with Chan hanging around more often. Jeongin had never handled stress well and Chan both helped and worsened his problems.
He snapped out of his daze and continued walking towards his bicycle. As he had reached for his bike, he heard rushed footsteps from behind him. He expected someone like Seungmin, Felix, maybe Hyunjin or Jisung, but he was surprised to say the least.
The boy before him seemed worn out, breathing heavily, but a small smile grew on his face upon seeing Jeongin.
Dimples appeared on the boy's cheeks and he caught his breath. "Jeongin..." Chan said in between breaths.
Although he quickly gained his breath back, Jeongin giggled at Chan's condition, "What's up, hyung?"
"I was wondering if you wanted to hang out," Chan said with a nervous smile, but seemed embarrassed after a moment as a light blush spread across his cheeks. "It doesn't have to be just us, it's just that Felix wanted all of us come over for a sleepover and watch movies... I was hoping we could go to the music store, then go get some ice cream, and then head to Felix's place for the sleepover."
Jeongin smiled brightly at Chan, and although he tried not to think of it was a date he couldn't help but get his hopes up. "Of course, and I've been meaning pick out some new music anyways."
He smiled in a way that made Jeongin contemplate whether or not he was a human or literally the sun, his dimples seeming more endearing than ever. "It's on Friday!" Chan shouted as he ran off and hopped into his car.
Everything Chan did made Jeongin's heart flutter, and so he wasn't sure how he'd survive this week if he had to see him so often, but he'd do it for Chan since he seemed so happy.

The breeze, his car, and the house he lived in. Not quite a home filled with family memories but a home a family happened to live in. Or, mostly a family.
Usually the fact that his parents are never home would bug him, but as pulled into the driveway of an average sized house he felt... Happy. Although he was alone in the house, he didn't feel like he was. He was honestly too excited about seeing Jeongin more often to care.
Inside the home he was greeted with emptiness and silence, but it didn't get to him this time. He happily walked into the kitchen to grab a snack, setting his backpack on the tile next to the counter.
Just as when felt he could finally be happy in a home he hasn't felt okay in for so long, his phone rang. He looked around confused for a second before grabbing his phone out of his backpack, not bothering to check who it is.
"Hello?"
"Hey."
The smile dropped from his face the second he heard voice, questions and emotions built up inside his head.
"Mom?"
"Yeah, Chan, It's me. We're coming home from our business trip," His mother said simply.
"So soon? i thought it was going to last another week."
"We thought so, too, but we settled the deal rather quickly," His mother replied, her usual calm voice silencing for a second. "Sorry, honey, i have to go. We'll be back Thursday."
"Wait-"
The phone beeped and the silence surrounded him once again, replacing him with a paralyzed boy with watery eyes.
