As I take out my notes from the locker, I play different scenarios in my mind on how to approach Blue.

I see him coming in the hallway and keep my eyes on him.

He passes me without even glancing my way. I know he knows I'm here. I also now know how he has decided to handle this situation: ignore me and give me the silent treatment.

I slam the locker door hard enough for him to hear. The rest of the guys, and few other kids, notice my violence against my locker but Blue keeps his face forward.

The English class is not going well, either. We both don't talk to each other. Blue, who usually sits as if he's the only one sitting in this seat, is now sitting at the farthest our seat can allow from me.

I want to stab my pen through his hand to evoke some kind of reaction from him.

After the class is over, Harris drags me away.

"What on earth happened between you two?"

"Why don't you ask your BFF?" I tell him. I feel like it's not my place to tell them about Blue's confession.

"Why don't you tell me?"

I shake my head. "I'm not saying anything. And when he tells you, know this, it's his fault."
