In the middle of Inklantis City, there was a big screen just like in Inkoplis square. It lit up, and then the two newest, freshest idols appeared.
"Inklantis City! It's Sean!"
"And Cama!"
Sean was a dark blue boy inkling. He was wearing very casual clothes, a red and black flannel, some black pants, and a fresh pair of shoes. He is a guitar player, but now also the news reporter for Inklantis City.
Cama was a purple girl inkling and Sean's girlfriend. She was also dressed very casually, wearing a tan turtleneck. Her hair was in a ponytail and she wore glasses.
Sean: You're looking fine today, Cama.
Cama: Same to you, Sean.
They both giggled.
Sean: Well then, let's get to today's stages!
Cama: Turf War!
(They showed the stages.)
Sean: Ranked Stages!
(They showed the stages again.)
Cama: Ooh, League Battles!
(You guessed it, they showed the stages again.)
Sean: Now onto the news.
Many inklings and octolings lost interest by then.
Cama: The Zapfish has been stolen!
Suddenly, they all gained interest again.
Cama: Haha, just squidding!
Sean: Alright Cama, you had your fun.
Sean: Ahem.
Sean: According to this script...
Sean: Huh?
Sean: Cama you seeing this?
He handed her the paper and she had a very similar reaction.
They looked at the camera and smiled.
Sean: My favorite squid-kids, we'll be right back...
The screen cut to a black screen then started playing some ads.

Four: Eight! Share your fries, PLEASE.
Eight: No Four, you're going to eat them all just like last time.
Agent Three was the only one actually watching the news.
Three: D-did you guys not hear that?
Four: What's up, Three?
Three: Something's happening. We gotta go.
Four: But Eight hasn't finished her meal.
Three: We'll take it to go, come on.
The three of them then ran off.
They came to a phone booth.
Three pressed in the numbers "3, 4, and 8".
A panel underneath them opened, revealing a launch pad.
They jumped and made their way to CuttleFishHQ.
They arrived and were instantly greeted.
Pearl: Yo! You're here!

Hey, I'm the one writing this. I have some really good ideas for this book, and from what I know, nobody has really done something like this yet.
Fun fact, Sean is kinda like "Sea"
And Cama means "Bed" in Spanish.
Sea Bed. Get it?
I went for the boyfriend-girlfriend idols, cause it seems like that's what it would be if there was a Splatoon 3.
I made the cover of the book myself, but not the fanmade logo. Props to whoever made that.
Also, in this story Agent 3 is a girl, 4 is a guy, and 8 is also a girl. Just feel like this is the canon formula. Or not. Idk I like it this way.
