Holy crap guys this has been a journey. I've been trying to write this story for over 4 years. I've gone back and forth on plot and time period, but what never changed was that this was the story of Damian and Samara. Finally deciding to just take the plunge and upload this first draft as I wrote it was terrifying. Like, 11 months worth of terrifying. But it paid off.
I can honestly say I love this story and I'm so grateful to every single one of you who read it. You folks who were there every single update, who kept encouraging me along the way: you are awesome! You helped me keep going! I seriously love you guys. You have no idea how much it means to see people so excited about this story ♡
(Btw, if you're looking for a little emotional punch at the end of all this, listen to Illusion by VNV Nation. That is 100% Samara and Damian's song and I've always imagined the lyrics as all the things Damian would say to Samara ♡)
I have big plans for this book. I already am thinking of all the ways to edit and improve but some things have to wait. For now, this is the end of Damian and Samara's tale.
