41 ~ Well That Took A Turn

So I absolutely, positively HAD to use this gif and I'm not sorry in the slightest :)

I don't know if this is a trigger warning but just to be safe...TRIGGER WARNING!

"I'm breaking up with Cameron"

"You're kidding!"

"Really?"

"Took you long enough"

"What? Why?"

"YES!" Eloise smacked Sirius' chest at his response and turned to the rest of her friends,

"Yep, he's changed and it's not a good relationship. Besides..." she said, tucking a piece of hair behind her ear and glancing briefly at Sirius who smirked [see gif], "There may well be someone else"

"Finally! Took you two long enough" Lily smiled, "I'm fine with whatever you choose to do Elle, as long as you're happy" the redhead linked arms with Eloise and rested her head on her shoulder,

"Thank you Lils" she said softly and looked at James who was trying to hide his grin,

"I agree with Evans, also I hate Milton's guts, kissing my baby sister" he said and Eloise snorted,

"Am I really your baby sister if you're only older by six minutes?"

"Yes"

"Reall-"

"YES!"

"What did you want to talk about Beautiful?" Cameron asked Eloise once she had approached him in the corridor. Eloise looked at the boy in front of her and thought about what had changed from when they had first met, the use of his nickname no longer made her breath hitch and she no longer got lost when she looked into his blue eyes, he was a friend now. Eloise had known she had to end things as soon as she kissed Sirius, the feeling in her stomach being more extreme than anything she had ever experienced when with Cameron.

"I want to break up" she told him and the smile slid off of his face,

"Are you having a fucking laugh?!"

"Ummm, no" fury flooded his features,

"You're breaking up with me?"

"Ding ding ding! We have a winner!"

"This isn't a fucking joke Eloise, are you insane?" he seethed, "Why the fuck are you ending this?We are. The. Perfect. Couple!"

"Well, we're not are we? Yesterday I had to hex you to get you off of me"

"That was a small disagreement, all relationships have those"

"A small disagreement? You harassed me!"

"I DID NOT HARASS YOU, DUMB BITCH"

"Well that took a turn" Eloise mumbled, glaring at Cameron, "It's over and that's final"

"No it isn't!" Eloise didn't have time to retaliate when his mouth crashed onto hers - not this again! She thought and placed her hands on his chest, trying to push him away but he walked forwards so she was trapped between him and the wall. His hands began to roam and she slapped his chest repeatedly as she squeezed her eyes shut, his hands on her backside, pulling her wand out of her pocket and throwing it on the floor. Cameron stopped kissing her but put a hand over her mouth to muffle her yells as he kissed her neck. She thought she was going to be sick and she struggled even more frantically against his grip, kicking his shin which was the highest she could reach from her position against the stone wall. He bit her ear and she screamed into his palm, flinching as his other hand slipped under her shirt. She almost fainted in relief when she heard the sound of footsteps and a yell came from behind Cameron as he was pulled off of her. Eloise was met with the sight of her fuming brother who was punching Cameron repeatedly in the face, red blossoming outwards from the older boy, but her vision was blurred with tears.

Arms wrapped around her shaking frame and and she shrunk into Sirius' chest as he rubbed her arms,

"I'm going to get McGonagall" she heard Remus say worriedly, as he disappeared around the corner. James finally stepped away from Cameron and pulled Eloise into him, stroking her hair,

"It's okay Belle, I'm here, I've got you" James' words played in a loop in her head, the shouts of Sirius, who had pushed Cameron to the wall by his collar, turned to white noise. James' worried face was the last thing she saw before her vision clouded and everything went black.

The familiar walls of the sterilised Hospital Wing greeted Eloise as her eyes fluttered open. She felt a hand in hers but before she could turn her head, a body had jumped on top of her,

"BELLE!" James' voice was hoarse and it was clear he'd been crying, "Oh I was so worried" he pulled away and stroked her hair, his eyes gleaming with tears. The door opened and a number of people walked in, one of them being a rather solemn-looking Albus Dumbledore,

"Ah Miss Potter, you're awake"

"She's awake?!" a voice came behind the Headmaster and Remus, Peter and Sirius sprinted around him, 

"LOU!" Eloise had a feeling of deja vu when Sirius' wrapped his arms around her,

"Mr Black, give the girl some space" Professor McGonagall's sharp voice sounded and Sirius let go of her, smiling sheepishly at the Head of Gryffindor house before sitting on the bed next to Eloise, Remus and Peter stood at the end of her bed.

"How are you feeling Miss Potter?" Dumbledore asked and Eloise turned to face him, his blue eyes somewhat calming her,

"Umm fine, a bit shaken but I'll be ok" she smiled weakly and James squeezed her hand,

"Would you mind telling us what happened?" the Headmaster asked, "We've received a brief account from your brother but it would be helpful if you were to tell us exactly what happened" pity seeped through his features and Eloise took a deep breath before she began to explain. She told them exactly what happened, how she tried to break up with Cameron but how he wouldn't have it. By the end of the explanation, James face had clouded with anger, Remus was shaking his head furiously, Peter looked rather upset and Sirius had crossed his arms and was clenching his jaw,

"He should be expelled Sir"

"Mr Black-"

"No, he shouldn't be able to get away with this!"

"Yes Mr Black, Mr Milton will be expelled immediately"

"I mean it's disgust- wait, what?"

"Mr and Mrs Milton have been contacted and he will have left the castle by tomorrow" relief flowed through Eloise's veins and she smiled at James, "Well, we must be off, get some rest Miss Potter, your parents have been alerted and you will be accompanying them and James home for a few days tomorrow evening." with that Dumbledore nodded at the Marauders before leaving, Professor McGonagall in tow.
