Chapter 16

I sit up and stretch my arms and look around to see Luke not there. My eyebrows burrow in confusion, where is he? I look over to my bedside to see a piece of paper folded over which said 'Mikey' with a little heart next to it. I grab and open it up.

Dear Mikey,

Had to go early so your parents didn't catch me. Wouldn't want you to explain why there's a boy in your bed ;). Anyway meet me in our field in three hours.

I blush at the last part before smiling to myself. I have enough time to die my hair. I get dressed quickly and run downstairs to see my mum drinking her coffee.

"Mum can you drive me to the shops to get hair die?"

She nods her head and grabs her keys and we go to the shops. It was like a five minute drive. I get out and walk quickly into the shop and grab the hair die that I need.

When I get to the house I quickly go to the bathroom, shouting that I would be in there for a while. I lock the door so nobody could get in. I quickly attach the hair die myself. The first time I died it my mum did it. But with a little practice I am able to do it myself.

It felt like an hour before I was drying my new colour hair. I run my fingers through my now red hair. I smirk to myself, I love it. I look at the time to see I have an hour left till I meet Luke. I unlock the door to see my father standing there.

"Thank god I need a shower" he says pushing me out of the way and going into the bathroom.

"Rude" I mumble as I go into my bedroom.

I decided to wear my denim jorts, which is basically a mash up of jeans and shorts and a loose white sweater. I grab my black sneakers and put them on my feet. I decided to head over.

"Going to meet Luke" I shout heading out the door.

I walk over to the field, knowing my way. I get there and stand in the middle, I look around, where was Luke?

"Luke?" I shout before hearing something from the brambles I just came through.

"Luke?" I shout, my voice wavering.

"Boo"

I gasp and turn around to see Luke laughing. "That was not funny" I tell him.

"It was" Luke laughs

I pout and he pulls me into his arms "sorry baby" he kisses my head then realises the colour. "Oh my god you've got my favourite colour"

I look up at him "you like it?"

He nods his head "love it"

He sits on the ground and I sit in front of him "so why did you want to meet me?"

He pulls me to him and he falls back with me falling on top of him "what can I not see my boyfriend"

I raise an eyebrow "boyfriend?"

"Yeah, I think we kind of are now don't you think"

I nod my head before pecking his lips. He pulls the jumper off my shoulder a little "it's your birthday soon" he says kissing my shoulder.

I nod my head before saying "yep goodbye to 17, hello to 18"

He laughs before pecking my nose "you’re adorable". He moves his lips to my lips.

I smile into the kiss before pulling away "your little penguin" I giggle.

"Hey I thought it was cute"

"Well it was very adorable" I say before kissing him again.

I pull away and smile as I look into his eyes, I am so happy, I have an amazing boyfriend and amazing friends.

Well that’s what I thought, but apparently me and Alex weren't working out as best friends!

So the next chapter is where the drama begins…
