hidden message

It is not that
I do not remember you,
I hide your name in
every line of my poetry,
the deeper meanings of which
only you can understand.

when I said, " dead fish learned to swim"
I was just expressing
your gentle touch over my dead skin.
when I said, " plant is dying for want of rain"
I only meant that
I want you badly.
and
when I said, "I am beautiful inside"
I was just hinting at your
existence within me.
