Chapter 15 I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing

 Bere's P.O.V

I knew what mates are but I just didn't understand why me? I mean come on I knew I wasn't a saint but I didn't think anything could be so unfair, I guess everyone was right karma is a bitch. I walked towards Angel's office I didn't even knock I just walked in. When I walked in I saw a girl on his lap and they were making out, The longer I stayed there watching them the more it hurt I knew it shouldn't hurt, I mean we weren't dating but it felt like we had maybe connected on a different level maybe it had just been my imagination. He finally opened his eyes and saw his eyes opened wide I turned around and closed the door

" Bere let me explain things" He yelled as followed me

" It's fine there's nothing to explain and especially to me I just came to tell you I was going to drink some blood from the fridge and then leave" I told him as I kept walking I didn't want him to come near me not that I had anything against sleeping around or anything I have had my fair share of lovers, but Angel he didn't seem like that kind of guy. He seemed like a guy who waited for the 'right girl' kind of guy but it's not problem.

" You don't have to do that you could stay here with me" He said panicking

" Doubt it I don't like to stay in one spot for to long you know" I said shrugging and smiling

" Just stay a couple more days"  He said almost begging

" Angel I can't if I stay Erik will make me go with him by force and I don't want to cause you any problems" I told him. I couldn't stand looking at him any more I wanted to go out side I felt like the roof was caving in, I didn't want to leave with Erik but I did the thought of leaving here without him made my heart ache but my feelings for Angel I felt comfortable like I've known him for ages almost a sibling like feeling. The thought of leaving him also made me hurt and I couldn't believe I was feeling this it was wrong they were both mutts Angel was the only one I could semi tolerate.

" I won't pressure you just know I wish you would stay here longer" He said hugging me, I hugged him back he brought me so much comfort and so much joy but being this close to my neck made me thirsty.

" I need to feed Angel I'm thirsty" I said pulling back

" Don't worry I understand" He said grabbing my hand and pulling me towards the kitchen I didn't want to feed from the stupid bottle of blood I wanted fresh from the vain blood.

" So is Mark in the kitchen?" I asked smiling

" No, you can not drink from anyone on my land it's bottle or none" He said angry

" I was kidding you didn't have to get mad" I said pulling my hand away, he did have to get it was just a joke and I hadn't drank from anyone I drank from the bottle like he asked me too. As soon as we reached the kitchen I ran too the fridge I almost broke the fridge door I needed it blood. I drank from the bottle as if it were the last of the blood, Angel had set some rules for feeding me

1. I could only drink a bottle in the morning and another after the sun had set

2. I could not drink from anyone while I was here

3. I could not drink from the wildlife

4. I was not to threaten to drink anyone

I thought the 4th rule seemed unreasonable it was hard enough that I couldn't drink from anyone and then add the fact that I couldn't threaten anyone I'm a goddamn vampire the most threatening part about me was the fact the I drink blood to survive. As I was finishing up Erik walked into the room

" Hey" He said walking towards me

" Hey" I said my body suddenly becoming aware that he was here

" Angel we have business to talk about as you know Bere is my mate and as such I am asking your permission to take her back as soon as possible since she is on your land" Erik told Angel but was basically explaining it to me

" She doesn't want to leave just yet so I think she should stay a couple more weeks" Angel told Erik this conversation was beginning to piss me off this was my choice if I wanted to stay or if I wanted to leave

" See it's funny that you say that since you were the one to call me if she wanted her to stay longer you shouldn't have called me and informed me that she was here" Erik said getting angry, I was at a complete loss of words Angel had called Erik meaning he knew who I was way before he knew him and not only that but he didn't want me around.

" She doesn't want to go end of story she'll stay here" Angel said angrily

" Then of course you don't mind if I stay here and watch over my mate do you" Erik said with a hard edge in his voice

" I am not staying here and I'm not going with Erik I want to be free" I said finally finding my voice

" It's not up for discussion either you go with Erik or you stay here with me" Angel said firmly

" You mean she stays here with me" Erik said almost growling I put my hand on Erik's chest. Erik grabbed my hand and pulled me close and the shocks were there

" If she wanted to be with you she wouldn't have run away to begin with" Angel said trying to pull me away

" You don't know why I did it!" I said defending Erik I said it before thinking it " WHY THE FUCK DID I JUST SAY THAT?!" I yelled confused

" Even if your not a wolf you want to defend your mate the more time you spend with me the more you'll want me its only a matter of time before you walk into my room late at night and beg me to mark and mate you"  Erik said grinning like an idiot

" Ha is that before or after you kill me you jack ass I am a goddamn VVVAAAMMPPPIIIRREEE if you bite me I will die" I said stretching the word vampire to make a simple point as I stated the obvious

" The moon goddess wouldn't have wanted us to be together if you couldn't wear my mark" Erik said proudly

" No" Angel said angrily pulling me away

" Back down Angel she's mine and I'm willing to fight for her she's my mate"  Erik said pulling me back

" Stand down both of you it's my life" I said pulling away and walking away from both of them. I didn't need these two idiots telling me what to do. When I got to the room threw myself face down on the bed and the door opened I knew it was Erik because of the way my body was reacting, I felt the bed sink down

" Why do you wanna stay?"  I asked him

" Because I don't wanna miss a thing"  he said laying down next to me it was only a matter of minutes when I fell asleep in his arms.

Authors Note: Sorry it's not my best chapter I just broke up with my boyfriend, I'm sick, and my nail broke so I'm not feeling all that great, sorry about the spelling and the grammar errors
