i grab out my phone while walking the short way to johnnys and text him that i'm waiting outside

lauren has been working for the past couple hours and doesn't finish till 10 and won't get back till around 11 that leaves us a while before she gets suspicious

"woah kenzie"
johnny says walking over to his car looking at

"what"
i say nervously

"you look"

"bad"
i interrupt him

"no, you look amazing"

"maddie said that she wanted me to look
different to everyone, is it to much"
i ask very insecurely

"no it's amazing"
he says opening the door for me

"thank you"
i awkwardly mumble getting into his car

we pull up to the big house parking on the other side of the road and johnny runs around to my side and opens the door for me and extends his hand out to help me out of the car

"thanks"
i laugh whilst grabbing his hand, out hands stay holding each other while we walk into the house, i look around the busy house and the only thing on my mind is the terrible smell coming from it, a mixture of drugs, alcohol and sweat

"ew johnny it stinks"
i say blocking my nose

"you'll get used to it"
he laughs

after a while of socialising johnny walks us over to a group of unfamiliar people i stand behind him still awkwardly holding his hand

"hey kenz do you want to get a drink"
i simply nod my head

we walk over to where the drinks are and we are greeted by a group of girls that i used to be friend with

johnny hands me a drink and lightly pushes me over to the girls

"hey i'll be back in a little, stay over here"
he smiles

"omg kenzie i haven't seen you in forever"
one of the drunk girls says pulling me into a hug

after a long while of trying to understand the drunk girls they leave to go do some karaoke and i am left standing alone

i find a seat close by and text johnny to come back

"hey your kenzie right"
a boy with dark brown hair says approaching

"um, yes"
i uncomfortably say unsure of who this person is

"i'm ashton"
the boy extends his arm to shake my hand and i extend mine as well

"i've heard a lot about you"
he says with a big smile on his face

"hey do you want to go outside it's getting a little hot inside"
he says reaching for my hand to lead me outside

"i'm waiting for a friend"
i say moving away from his hand

"tell them to meet you outside"

"o-ok"
i say nervously texting johnny to quickly meet me outside

i follow him outside and he gestures me to sit on a chair next to him

"how do you know me"
i ask sitting across from the boy

"oh i follow you on instagram, i comment
on all of your posts"
he says moving to the chair next to me

"your really beautiful makenzie"
he says putting his hand on my thigh

"t-thanks"
i uncomfortably stutter

"so are you single"
he says moving his hand further up my thigh

"u-um"

"hey kenzie"
i hear johnnys voice from behind me

as the voice gets closer ashton immediately grabs onto my face and leans in to kiss me

i quickly dodge his lips making him hit my cheek

johnny pushes ashton off of me and i get up from the chair and hide behind johnny as he wraps his arm around my waist

a tear falls down from my face as johnny yells at ashton

"let's go kenzie"
johnny says leading me out of the large house

12:48 am
at the ziegler residence

"did he do anything else to you"
johnny asks sitting on my bed waiting for me to finish getting dressed

"he was rubbing my thigh"

"so he was trying to seduce you"
he asks

"i don't know johnny"
i say walking out of my closet and over to my bed

"hey johnny can you pass me my water"
i say pointing to the cup sitting next
to him

"yeah"

"are you ok kenzie"
he says passing me the cup and laying next to me on the bed

"yeah i just have a headache"

"you should get some sleep"
he suggests

"i'll be over tomorrow to check on you"
he says walking out my door

"wait johnny"

"yeah"
he says poking his face in through door

"could you possibly stay with me tonight"
i ask him

"oh um"

"it's ok you don't have to, im just a bit spooked about the situation that happened tonight, and i don't know if i'll be able to fall asleep because of my headache"
i explain to the boy

"yeah sure kenzie"
he smiles joining me in the bed

"thank you johnny"
i smile turning over to him

"no problem kenz"
he reply's
