Chapter Nine

7:01 p.m.

Ha! 

I smile at myself as I plop another blueberry in my mouth and wrap myself in my blanket as I continue to watch Gilmore Girls in content 

" I'll meet you here Friday at 7 p.m."

Ha you thought!  I thought smiling at myself in satisfaction 

Angela:1 Blake:...

Actually, let's not do that

I continue to watch Gilmore Girls and get more comfortable as I snuggle furthur in my blankets and sigh in content and slowly fall asleep to the sound of the series

DRING

DRING

DRING

DRING

I hazily flutter my eyes open as the doorbell continues causing me to want to blow my brains out 

"NOBODY'S HOME" I scream hoping it shoos away whoever's at the door

A few seconds pass and it's complete silence

Oh Thank God

 I hum in content and let sleep take me in once again

DRING

DRING

DRING

"Oh for the love of God.." 

I angrily push the blankets away from my body muttering some incoherent words and storm towards the door opening it and without really looking I scream, "WHAT?!"

I look up to see Taylor, Ben, and Blake all standing there looking at me

 Taylor and Ben look at me in shock as Blake simply raises an eyebrow at me

"Well that's nice greeting" Taylor teases as she smirks towards me only for me to glare at her 

"I was sleeping" I mutter folding my hands and pouting slightly 

I stupidly look up again and this time with shock as it finally clicked in my head that Taylor...Ben...and Blake were in my doorway

My eyes widen as my lips part slightly 

"what are you guys going here?" I ask creasing my eyebrows slightly looking at them confused

Taylor and Ben in sync both slowly look at Blake who seems unfazed by everything

"We have a date" 

I look at him astonished unable to understand anything 

"I-but-I-Uh" I pathetically stutter as words are unable to form

Noticing my confusion and lack of communication skills, Taylor jumps in 

"Well, you see beautiful best friend, when Blake showed up outside at the cafe and you weren't there he um.."kindly" asked Ben here where you were and Ben called me and well..here we are," Taylor says clapping her hands at the end 

I turn my attention to Ben who's been quiet all night and see him look at Blake as if Blake was going to attack him at any minute

"so can we come in or like..are we going to freeze to death?" Taylor asks shivering a bit making me come back to reality 

"u-um yeah, come in" I said still in a haze as I open the door more for them to all enter

They come in and walk in the living room as they all sit at the couch making themselves at home

I check the clock and see it's 12 a.m. 

"you guys do know it's 12 a.m. right?" I asked looking at them annoyed

"mmhmm that's why we sleeping over" Taylor says carelessly as she picks up one of my berries and puts it in her mouth

My mouth drops open as I look at her stunned 

I don't mind Taylor sleeping over, I don't even mind Ben sleeping over but Blake? 

NO

"we?" I squeak as I look at Blake who already has his attention on me

"We" Blake replies looking at me straight in the eye as if he was daring me to object

"A-angela?" I look towards Ben and see him looking at me while pushing his glasses more onto his face 

"yeah?"

"I-I don't have to sleepover if you don't want me too" He said looking down embarrassed

Damn..now I feel bad 

"No..it's alright of course you can spend the night. You're always welcome here Ben" I said sincerely as he looks up at me in gratitude

"We can all sleep on the couch and the floor," I said and get nods of approval 

"Alright um..here" I take the remote and start playing Gilmore Girls 

"really?" Blake says looking at the tv now in displeasure

"My house. My rules" I shrug as I raise the volume a bit higher 

Ben and Taylor get cozy on the couch as Taylor lies on one end and Ben lies on the other as Blake and I take the floor. I lean against the couch and grab a few blankets and wrap myself in them as we all silently watch Gilmore Girls

I turn my head a bit and see Blake watching the series but notice his body shaking a bit

Is he cold?

no..you don't care Angela

I turn my attention back on the tv and try to focus on Rory and Loreali's conversation but my eyes betray me as they once again look towards Blake who is still slightly shivering

Why'd u have to look Angela?

I sigh and grab the blanket on me and gently place half of it on him. His grey eyes turn to me as  I blush and quickly turn my attention back on the tv

I hear a bit of shuffling and see Blake move closer towards me so the blanket could conveniently cover us both

I'm starting to think I can't get rid of him..
