Chapter 05

A month has passed since I came to this life as Caden. I already learn the basic knowledge of this world and the Kingdom I lived in. Most countries in this world are run with the Kingdom system, yet the civilization is quite modern as it has some advanced technology development. Currently, I lived in a post-war era which is quite peaceful but no one knows when this peace will break, so they still keep their military strong. It's no different that different from every advanced medieval world that I've lived before. The only major difference is the secondary sex system. I've researched more about it because old Caden was not really good at studying. This concept is just too weird from any oddness things I've encountered.

Here, Alpha is the most powerful being where most of the lords, nobles, and leaders have this specific gender. No matter male or female. They have specific trait as having well built and strong physic, can go into a rut, and can knot their mates while having sex. What are we, a wolf?

The Betas are the most similar being close to normal humans, holding up to seventy percent of the population. They can get any job, even being a leader as long as they have skills.

The most despicable and unfortunate being is an Omega. Their body can go into heat which prevents them from having a normal life. Both man and woman Omega are so fertile that it looks like the sole purpose of them is to breed. Well, that's fucked up.

Upon learning it I felt so glad that I was at least born as a Beta, not having those weird evolution's traits as Alphas and Omegas. My sole eeriness and the big question mark is how come everyone in this world could get pregnant? I could get pregnant. Even Though statistically a Beta-man going into pregnancy is low, it is not uncommon. Well, I've lived a life as a woman, got married, and have kids. I also have live a life as a gay and having plenty of sex with a man before, no matter my role as a top or bottom. I considered myself as bi and open to any gender identity. The thing is, the nature that man can get pregnant in this world defies any logic that I've known before. It is too new and too weird even for me. I must admit, it scares me a bit by the thought that I, as a man, can get pregnant. Well, let's rely on that low probability and hope that I'm not going to accidentally bore a child anytime soon.

Another thing that I've learned is the basic survival guide in this household. As the leader, Darren's words are absolute. Also, his Alpha's trait makes everyone else submit, making it almost impossible to deny his command. Darren is mostly busy until late at night, so I usually fall asleep before he returns.

I spend most of my time reading books. I used to bring them one by one to my room but it has become a pain that lately I just read it in the library. Darren allows me to do anything here as long as I don't bother his work and I'm available whenever he wants to do it. We have sex on the average of three times a week, whenever he doesn't have any works that make him running late. I kinda used to him but it's not changing the fact that it hurts really bad whenever he 'do' me. One thing that I notice is that he never really knot me when we had sex. No that I want to, but I'm kinda curious about that. Well, it probably only happened between Alpha and Omega, as most books said.

Ah right! I never met any omega. I know that their population is low but I thought that there will be some of them in this big mansion. I can't say that I've explored this place thoroughly, but I should at least meet one of them once if there is one here... right?

Anyway, I am currently in the back garden, practicing my power and testing my skills. Right now, The only supernatural power that I can use is just healing power which I've used before. I know there are some worlds where I can't perform any special powers. The factor varies. At first, I thought it was because of this weak body of Caden, but then I realize everyone here seems doesn't have any supernatural power either. So inconvenient.
