Sometimes I wish I could go back in time.

I'd go back to the lake,

back when you were mine.

I wish I could rewind

back when you were my reality,

and not just a fragment in my mind.

I'm waiting for your memory to set me free

But you've got a hold on me.

I wish I could go back.

Just a little bit in the past.

Back when I was sure we would last.

Maybe its not just wishing.

I go back every night.

I lie back down in bed.

and I turn out the lights.

I go back in time

I promise myself this is the last time.

But I know it's just a lie.
