"Freeze!" I screamed and time stopped.
I felt my feet touch the ground, making me realize that the soul was no longer hiding me but making everything freeze...I did this. The Alpha had stopped midway to the door, pure terror in his eyes but everything about him didn't move.
He's completely frozen I thought to Rica, she was beyond words. I look at the three men to see their faces shocked and frozen in an attempt to follow their Alpha out of the room.
"Well...Shit." I muttered.
Yup. Shit, Rica murmured as well. I look around the room.
Now what? Rica asked, but I didn't answer her when I brought out two more souls. They came forth in clouds of smoke and looked at me waiting for my commands.
What are you doing Ana? Rica asked, confused.
Apparently, I am stronger than I knew...so I want to try something. I think with conviction.
"Find anything on Blood Wolves," I say with power in my voice, the souls bow their heads and disappear, but I feel them flying around the room searching through books and records. It took a couple of minutes, but I could feel my powers begin to waiver, the time freeze and controlling the other two souls are beginning to take a toll on me. I kneel clutching my head; it felt like it was going to explode any second, but I couldn't stop now. I need this information. I was distracted when a small book landed in front of me. I look up to see the souls looking at me again, waiting for more orders. I open my hand, and they both sink down on my palm. I bring them to my chest and feel them enter my body, and I didn't realize I was shivering until their warmth returned to me. I look at the book they brought me, it was small, but was bound by leather and smelled of old ink. I unraveled the thin string holding the book together to see the thick black ink, "Blood Wolf" The words screamed at me, and there was a sketch of a wolf, this one was huge, and the black fur from the nose to the tale was more prominent, the black coat surrounded the wolf's eyes in a mask. I felt my smile grew; this was something I have never seen before. Finally, I will be able to find out something about myself, no matter how small that piece of information was. I craved it, anything to explain why people needed to treat me like a disease. I tuck the small book under my arm. I looked at the desk and decided to do a little more digging. Walking over to the counter I saw the mess of the paperwork scattered across the floor, but one thing stood out, it was a picture of me. I bent down and picked up the file.

I closed the file quickly.
Alpha Valverde...is dead!? How? When I left I distinctly remember him being alive? So When? I asked shocked. Rica couldn't help but give a cruel laugh.
Good Riddance! I just wished that bastard beta died as well. Rica joked...at least I think it was a joke.
So THE Alpha King is willing to pay 2 million for us. Should we be flattered? Rica asked sarcastically, and I let out a small giggle. I couldn't help but feel sad though. I close my eyes willing myself not to cry...Goddess, when have I ever been such a cry baby.
I'm a subject to them...I don't even count as a living thing.
Hey...we anticipated this, didn't we? We know that they will never treat us fairly. We know that the King only wants us for power. But we have each other; we will get through this...together. Rica assured me. I open my eyes looking back at the pile. Another document catches my eye, and I pick it up. Rage fills me to the core. It's the fucking contract between the Alphas and at the bottom of the fucking page was Xander's signature. I scan through it, most of the wording I didn't understand but what I could understand made me want to tear someone's head off. The contract was signed two years ago, probably after Xander found out I was his mate. I felt my hands heat up and saw the deal begin to sear. I dropped the file and took a shaky breath.
They were hypocrites. They condemned me for crimes they committed themselves. I felt my breathing become ragged and wanted to scream. But I held it in. I needed to conserve my energy. I pick up the contract. I look at the file of me and grab it as well. There were more papers in there I needed to see. I walk towards the door and stop when I come close to the Alpha. I stand in front of him
"So, you're the one who made this deal with The Nightfall Pack," I say to him waving the contract in his face. His eyes stayed frozen in fear staring at the door; it made me wonder if he could hear anything I said. Can he feel anything? I bring my leg back and kick him in between the legs. I hear a little whimper and give a small smile before walking out the door.
And you say I'm too much Rica chuckled.
"There is a difference between killing someone and kicking them," I mutter and feel the warmth fill my cheeks.
It felt good hearing him whimper though, didn't it? Why didn't you do that to our old pack, specifically Xander or even our bastard of a father? I stopped in my tracks, flinching when she said His name.
"Because..." I trailed off; I didn't know what to say. Rica had a point. Why didn't I do this or worse to the people who hurt me for years... I shake my head. There was no point dwelling on that now. No matter how much people deserve it, I refuse to be like them. I walk the same way the Alpha had gone.
It was time to pay a little visit to the Alpha's daughter.
