A twenty-five-year-old modern day woman wakes up from a car accident to find herself trapped in the body of a sixteen-year-old Manchu girl living in the 18th century Qing Dynasty. In her new life, she becomes deeply entangled in the princes' battle for the throne and finds herself slowly falling in love with them. As the princes have, too, fallen for her beauty, she has to think of a way to reject them. In the end, she ends up becoming the victim of the love triangle.
This English Version of Startling By Each Step / Bu Bu Jing Xin is genuinely based on a renowned Chinese Drama, which is relatively based on a Chinese Novel written by Tong Hua. I hold no credit to any images, songs, and storylines. The translation, however, is what I am dedicated to.
If you like a dash of romance and political fights after an emperor's throne, I hope you will enjoy reading this story. I enjoy metaphorical writing and so this story is more towards the Literature genre. The poems in this story are my genuine creation, and I hope they rhyme well.
