60 ~ And I Always Will

The sound of someone speaking nervously invaded Eloise's sleep. Her eyes fluttered open and she groaned, spotting James pacing up and down in the dorm. She rolled over in Sirius' bed and he stirred, wrapping an arm around her and pulling her into him,

"Lou, tell him to shut up please." he mumbled and Eloise smiled,

"Prongs, what are you doing?" she asked and her brother looked over to the bed, noticing the couple cuddling,

"What am I doing?" he asked, jumping into the bed and settling himself between Eloise and Sirius, "You're the ones snuggling up to each other right in front of me...especially since Pads isn't wearing a shirt- what the fuck!?" he clipped his best mate around the head and continued, "Why would you do that in front of a big brother who wouldn't hesitate to rip Padfoot's tail off.?" Sirius raised an eyebrow,

"I'd like to see you try." he tested and James' eyes narrowed,

"You're about to." he muttered and Eloise decided that it was time to step in,

"We're getting up anyway, aren't we, Pads?" she stood up, stretching and picking up one of Sirius' hoodies, slipping it over her head. She reached for Sirius' hand and began walking out of the room with him, "We'll go to my bed instead." she grinned at her brother and sprinted out of the door, Sirius trailing behind her and the last thing them seeing was James trying to get up but getting tangled in the covers. She pulled Sirius up the stairs to her dorm and collapsed on her bed, pulling the covers over the both of them.

"Umm, Elle?" she peeked her head out of the duvet and saw the girls looking at her apprehensively, "Should we leave?" Lily asked, gesturing to Sirius who Eloise was resting on. The couple looked at eachother and began to laugh,

"Calm down, Lily, we're just trying to escape James." the girls visibly sighed in relief but still left to the common room. Lily, however, stayed at the end of the bed,

"Don't try anything." she said, pointing at the two of them who were smirking oddly similarly, "You're lucky we're already dressed, or then we would have had to castrate your boyfriend." with that she smiled sweetly and joined the girls downstairs. Eloise settled back down under the covers and rested her head on Sirius' chest.

"You do realise we have to get up soon to get ready for the match." he said quietly, putting his cheek on her hair. She groaned,
"I almost forgot about that, don't worry though,  Prongs'll be pestering us soon."

Sure enough, just as Eloise had started to doze off, James voice rang up the stairs,

"OI!" he shouted and Sirius mumbled in protest, holding on tighter to Eloise, "The Quidditch match is in one hour and if you two don't get your arses down here right now, I'll kick you off the team." he stopped shouting and waited for them but when he heard no movement he sighed, "Moony is here and he isn't even playing!" Eloise removed Sirius' arm from around her and sighed, sitting up,

"Come on, James is on the border of having a hissy fit." Sirius rolled his eyes and sat up, running a hand through his hair. Eloise waked into the bathroom and had a shower, throwing on her Quidditch kit and putting Sirius' hoodie back on over it for breakfast. She went to the mirror brushing her teeth and noticed a rather large spot on her chin,

"Okay...ew, not today." she quickly made it disappear, along with changing her hair colour to silvery blonde and in french braids. She smiled at her back-to-clear skin and perfect hair, "Oh the joys of being a metamorphmagus." she walked back into the dorm and Sirius was still sat on her bed, although now in his Quidditch uniform. He grinned and her when she walked out,

"Hey, can you put my hair up- hold on..." he stood up and picked up a plait, "Why is your hair the same colour as Professor Laurent's?" he smirked and Eloise's cheeks flushed red and she shrugged,

"It isn't. Let me do your hair." she quickly changed the subject and sat him down on her bed and kneeled behind him, pulling his hair into a bun. They stood up and she smiled at him, "Gorgeous." he grinned and kissed her quickly, wrapping his arm around her waist as they left for breakfast,

"I will never get tired of seeing you in my hoodie." he whispered and Eloise smiled at him,

"And I will never get tired of seeing you in that uniform." she replied and he winked, brushing off his red and gold striped jumper.

"And beginning the first match of the season: the Eagles versus the Lions!" Remus' voice rang from the microphone and the crowd erupted in cheers, "Walking onto the pitch now is the Gryffindor Team, led by the Captain and seeker James Potter. Followed by the beaters Callum Burkwash and Sirius Black." as his name was called, Sirius blew a kiss to the crowd and winked cheekily, earning him more than a few screams from girls. Eloise rolled her eyes and crossed her arms, "Looks like Black's giving some love to the crowd, and the magnificent Chaser Eloise Potter isn't giving any to him, look at that scalding look." Remus chuckled and Eloise looked up at him, laughing lightly, "Its fine, Ellie, I still love you!"

"Love you more, Remmy!" she shouted back, "Much more than that rando over there!" she pointed to Sirius and the crowd laughed as he put his hand to his chest, feigning hurt. Eloise pretended to look sorry but then flipped him off, making him crack a smile and the stands to laugh even more. She turned to the students and curtseyed, fanning her face sarcastically, "Thank you, Hogwarts, and goodnight!"

"Let's get on with the game shall we?" Remus asked, a wide smile on his face and Eloise winked at him, "Last but not least of the Gryffindor Team, the other chasers Marlene McKinnon and Martin Bell." The last two member grinned at the crowd and the team lined up.

Eloise tuned out to the other team's introduction and focused on calming her breathing. She always got worked up before a match, being the one to have to get the ball first. She looked up into the crowd and immediately spotted Lily's flaming red hair. She was wearing her Gryffindor scarf and her and all of the girls were waving wildly. Looking towards the green stands, nobody was really cheering, but she did notice the icy, blue eyes of Regulus smiling at her, seeing Evan wink at her from his side. She finally looked to the stand covered in yellow were she spotted someone's brown curls waving in the wind. Nathan cupped his hands over his mouth,

"GO ON, BERRY, KICK THEIR BIRDY ARSES!" she laughed and waved at her new friend as he gave her a thumbs up. She saw James shaking the Ravenclaw Captain's hand and took a deep breath, clutching tighter on her broom. She turned and saw Sirius looking at her,

"Protect me, Black." she grinned and he smirked at her,

"I always do, Potter." he recited the words of their pre-game ritual, although he added something new on the end, "And I always will."
