"Hey!" Opening her eyes, Lilah groaned, placing the blanket over her face, "I said, hey!" Christian's voice was ringing in her ears and he sounded pissed. Not a good sign. Sitting up, Lilah looked to her left to find Floyd was gone before she set her eyes onto Christian who stood at the end of her bed, his arms were crossed and his intensely blue eyes were... glaring at her,

"You did." She smirked back at him, "Twice. Good for you."

"Biggest. Most. Stupidest. Mistake. Of. Your. Life." Christian said, putting emphasise on every word he spoke.

"My entire life is a huge mistake." Lilah smirked back, sitting up to look at him. So, she slept with Floyd, that didn't even make the top ten worst decisions she had made during her lifetime and it wasn't like her and Jonathan were actually official. She wasn't his girlfriend. She certainly wasn't his wife. She was just his play thing. Something to torment when he got bored

"You think this is funny?" Christian asked, his brow furrowing, "I thought you loved Jonathan." Lilah tilted her head. She did. She just.... Lilah had no idea what was happening anymore. But every move she had made so far was just making her hate herself more than she already did.

"I do." She replied softly, still trying to uphold the cold, smartarse demeanour she had grown accustomed to. There was a brief moment of silence before Lilah spoke once more, "What did you expect, Christian? Haven't you worked out that I'm not the good guy?" Christian was silence and Lilah smirked, "Last time I checked, neither are you."

"This has nothing to do with whether or not we're 'good' or 'bad'." Christian said and Lilah started to blink back tears. He was right, she messed up.

"Where's Floyd?" She asked.

"Doing something with his sniper rifle." Breathing a sigh of relief, Lilah wrapped the white sheet around her and allowed her feet to find the floor,

"And Edward?"

"Something with my computer." Christian pouted. Lilah stared at him, slowing her breathing so that her tears wouldn't spill over.

"You're just full of helpful information aren't you?" She muttered.

"And you're a bitch." Christian retorted. Lilah smirked, looking around the room for her clothes,

"Look, all I wanna do is get Jonathan outta Arkham and then go back to Star City. That's it." Lilah told him, her tone was serious and hopefully, Christian would take her seriously.

"With him?" Christian asked. Lilah shrugged,

"Only if he wants." She replied. In truth, she wasn't even sure if Jonathan would leave with her. She had been trying not to think about it.

"And if he doesn't?" Christian asked, his eyebrow was raised slightly as he watched her,

"Then he stays and I go." Picking up her clothes Lilah threw them onto the bed, her eyes scanning the room before they found Christian, "Turn around." Rolling his eyes, Christian did as he was told, "I'm going to Star City no matter what." Lilah said as she started to get dressed,

"What's in Star City that's more important than Jonathan Crane?" He asked sarcastically. Lilah paused staring at the back of his head before she took and small breath,

"My daughter." She answered softly.

"Right." Christian nodded, "Zoe? That's her name isn't it"

"Yes." Zoe... The name was echoing in her head. She was the only thing she held onto. The only piece of her sanity that remained. She wasn't worthy of such a beautiful daughter and she had no right to call herself a mother. But, as soon as everything was over, at least she could try and be a better person. Who knows? Maybe good was in her. Somewhere. "You can turn back around now." Lilah said as soon as she was dressed. Turning on his heel, Christian looked her up and down,

"So much more appealing than a sheet." He smirked. Lilah simply rolled her eyes, "Well then." Christian began, taking small steps towards her, "I guess it will be you, Zoe and me in Star City." Lilah was taken back,

"What?" Christian laughed,

"Who else is going to make sure you don't screw everything up?" He asked and Lilah grinned at him, her tears finally spilling over. Christian frowned at her, moving towards her. "Why are you crying?" He asked and Lilah shook her head.

"I'm such an idiot." She cried and Christian chuckled, pulling her towards him and hugging her tightly.

"Yes, you are. But hey, we'll all had sex with people we shouldn't. It's okay." He soothed and Lilah cried into his dress shirt. Why was he being so nice to her? Pulling away from him, she wiped the tears from her face and decided to focus on his claim that he would leave Gotham with her.

"I don't understand. You have no purpose being in Star City. What about Selina? Shouldn't you be chasing after her?" Lilah asked, looking down at her feet. Christian scoffed,

"She's out of my league. Plus, I don't have any friends. Well, I have one." He said, looking down at his feet before back at Lilah who couldn't help but grin, despite her eyes still being red and puffy from her minor breakdown.

"Well, it's a good thing that I like you otherwise that would be awkward. Having a best friend that hates your guts." She joked.

"Who said you were my best friend." Christian scoffed, "I said you were my friend."

"Yeah well, you're a dick and you have no friends... so.... deal with it." She smiled. It was nice to have a friend and Lilah really did love Christian, in a friendship kind of way, of course.

"And you're a bitch who slept with the deadliest assassin in the world whilst trying to rescue your current boyfriend." He laughed. He was trying to make light of the situation, to prove that it wasn't as big of a deal as she was making it out to be.

"Jonathan isn't my boyfriend." She said in response. She had no right to call Jonathan her boyfriend after she embarrassed him when he told her he loved and of course, after last night. Moving forward, Christian placed a hand on her shoulder, wearing a smirk that seemed to be a normality for him,

"Let's just hope that Deadshot and Jonathan are as understanding as you make them out to be." This time Lilah returned a smile,

"Then let's go save Jonathan, blow 'Deadshot' off and then go to Star City." She grinned at him, linking her arm with Christian's.

"You're going to die a horrible death." He told her. "I can tell."

"Probably." Lilah smirked, stepping out of her room along side her 'best friend' and future housemate.
