Yuto gave his sister a kiss on the head, while stealing a bacon from her plate. She gasped, pouting at him. He ate it, making a face at her. His father turned, looking at him. "Ready for school?" Yuto shrugged, taking a seat in the empty stool.
"Not really, but do i have a choice?" his father looked at him, worry on his face. Yuto looked away, not having anything to say to him. His sister pushed a plate to him, telling him to eat. He smiled, grabbing a water from the table nearby.
When he was done, he stood up, grabbing his bag. "Isn't it too hot to wear a jacket?" Akari said. He smiled, wrapping his arms around her.
"I'll be fine, worry about getting all your work done." he gave her another kiss on the head, before smiling to his dad. "I'm going to go already." he nodded. Akari grabbed his hand, making him turn.
"Can you take me today?" he smiled, glancing to his dad. He nodded, a smile on his face. He sighed, turning to let her hop on his back. She giggled, wrapping her arms around his neck.
"Do you have your stuff?" she nodded, patting the bag behind her. He nodded, saying bye to his dad. He walked out, her school on the way to his. They talked the whole time, calming both their nerves. When he got to the school, he set her back down. She turned, smiling up at him. He crouched down, so he was level with her.
He cupped her face, giving her forehead a kiss. "Be good, okay?" she nodded, pulling away from him. She did the same as him, giving his cheek a small kiss.
"Be good, okay?" he laughed, nodding his head. He stood up, watching her walk in. once she was gone, he took his headphones out. He blasted his current favorite song, walking to his school now. He passed a few people who looked younger than him, not sparing them a glance.
The school was smaller than he thought, the beige walls making him somewhat anxious. He scanned the building, before heading to the main office. There were some kids in there, mostly people who needed their ids. He looked around, hoping someone would help him. An older girl turned, eyeing him from the other side. "Hello, do you need some help?" he turned, trying to find the person the voice belonged to.
He found her, letting out a sigh. "Yes, i'm new?" she nodded, motioning him over. He stood at the counter, watching her type into a computer.
"Name?" he cleared his throat.
"Yuto. Adachi Yuto." she smiled softly, nodding her head.
"Ah, yes. Our transfer student. Do you need your schedule?" he nodded.
"Yes, please." she nodded again, the printer starting from behind her. She turned, grabbing the paper.
"Okay, here's where your class will be. There is someone that will show you around. And here's your Id. you will need to keep it on at all times." he nodded, grabbing the stuff from her hands. She looked behind him, smiling. "And here's your tour guide. Hyunggu, this is Yuto." he turned, seeing a small boy behind him.
He smiled widely, eyes crinkling up into an adorable eye smile. Yuto couldn't help the smile that made its way onto his face. The lady left the two alone, letting them get to know each other. The boy grabbed his arm, pulling him away from the office. "Hi, i'm Kang Hyunggu." he stuck his hand out to him. "But you can call me Kino if you want." Yuto smiled softly.
"I'm Yuto. i don't have a nickname." He laughed, shaking his head.
"It's alright. I'm sure you'll have one soon." They walked down a hall, with Hyunggu pointing out classes. He asked what class he had, his face lighting up. "We have the same class together. I'll introduce you to the people in there, they're all cool." Yuto nodded, looking around.
They had made it around the school, walking into the cafeteria. Hyunggu sat him down, a plate of breakfast in front of him. "Sorry, i don't really have time to eat at home." Yuto shook his head.
"It's fine." he smiled.
"So, Yuto, where are you from?" he sighed, looking around.
"I'm from Japan." he raised his brows.
"Really?" he nodded. "That's cool. I can speak a little Japanese." Yuto looked at him surprised.
"You can?" he nodded. He started to talk to him in Japanese, easing Yuto's nerves. It was nice to speak in his native tongue again.
"You play any sports?" Yuto nodded.
"I like to play baseball." his face lit up again.
"Really? So do i. You should join the team, you look like you're really good." Yuto laughed.
"I used to play at my old school." Hyunggu raised his brow.
"What position?" Yuto thought about it for a moment.
"I was the pitcher." He smiled widely.
"We could use one right now. I'm the catcher, so if you try out, maybe we could practice together." Yuto nodded, glad he finally made a friend. He finished eating, before dragging him to their class.
He walked in, most of the people already there. "Guys, this is Yuto." he smiled at them awkwardly. The seven boys smiled, waving at him. "Yuto, this is Jinho, Hwitaek, Hongseok, Hyojong, Shinwon, Changgu, and Yanan. One of us is missing, but i'm sure he'll be here in a couple of seconds." he nodded, greeting all the boys. He sat down near them, Jinho taking the seat next to him.
