Based on above pic.

This isn't irondad, just Peter/Ned fluff.

Just friends, btw.

------------

Ned had started a spiderman fan club before he found out that it was his best friend Peter.

And then, after finding out, of course he didn't mention it to said best friend.

Because it would just be weird.

'Hey man. I started a club about you. No big deal.'

Pretty awkward, right?

So he kept it a secret.

Until Peter came into class after a bad patrolling night.

-------------

Peter shuffled into the classroom, eyes dropping shut, exhaustion lining his face.

He dropped into his seat, murmuring a hello to Ned, and resting his head on his arms.

Ned watched him worriedly.

Peter wasn't usually like that, except when-

Oh.

Oh.

-----------

At lunch Peter was still quiet.

"Dude, are you okay?" Ned asked softly. "You haven't said a word all day. Bad mission?"

Peter shrugged listlessly. "I let her die."

Ned leaned closer. "Talk to me."

Peter heaved a sigh. "She had a gun to her head. Said she would shoot if I came closer. I didn't. But then she started crying. Screamed that she hated everything. She didn't want help, she just wanted peace. And I didn't stop her. I waited for her to put it down instead of stopping her then."

Ned squeezed Peter's shoulder. "Its not your fault, Peter."

Peter eyes were suddenly cold. "I couldn't even save one girl. What kind of superhero am I if I can't even save one girl, Ned?"

Ned looked lost in thought.

Then his face brightened. "I've got an idea."

He pulled Peter out if his seat, and maneuvered his way around the cafeteria, rapping shoulders and whispering instructions.

Then he led Peter to an empty class room.

Soon enough, people started trickling in, and filling the seats.

Ned waited at the front, Peter standing silently to the side

Once the room was full, surprisingly, Ned cleared his throat.

"Okay, guys. We have a serious problem."

He waited until all eyes were on him.

"Peter thinks Spiderman's lame."

There was an uproar, all of the students clamoring to be heard.

"How could you think that? He saves more people every day than the Avengers!"

"Dude, Spiderman is the coolest!"

"He saved my mom's life a couple of weeks ago!"

"He helps so many people!"

"He's a better hero than anyone I've ever seen!"

"He is so cool dude."

They went on to list all his attributes, how many people he saved on a daily basis, percentages of lowered crime compared to before he came, and glowing reports of how well he took care of the city.

When Ned looked back at Peter, there was the tiniest smile on his best friend's face.

"What is this?"

Ned blushed. "The Spiderman fan club."

Peter blinked. "Oh. Well... thanks, Ned."

He looked the ground. "I kinda needed that."

Ned clapped his shoulder. "Everyone needs a man in the chair, huh?"

Peter summoned up another smile. "Mine's the best though."
