50 awake

flipping of papers and clicking of pens woke johnny up.

the light on jordan's study table was on and so was her laptop.

"why are you awake?"

he checked his phone and it was 4.15am.

"our training ended late today, are you not tired"

he yawned.

"go to sleep johnny, i have some stuff to finish"

"you want some coffee?"

"no"

"look, these past few days i've realised that you are actually not getting enough sleep"

"i've figured that its not because of the upcoming comp"

"something is messing with your head but im guessing you just don't want to say"

"your eyebags are showing and you're restless in class"

"johnny."

"i don't need these talks at 4 in the morning"

"if you don't mind, i have things to settle"

"so important that you are neglecting your rest?!"

johnny didn't realise that his tone got higher.

"enough."

"what is so important ms errica jordan lee?"

he exclaimed.

johnny was taken back by her.

jordan continued her work and there was johnny waiting for her to finish it.

time passed. hours went by. it was 6.05am now and she was still not sleeping.

she was furiously typing and checking through emails and the paperwork on her desk.

time check was 7.46am and she was finally done.

"goodness lord!"

she stretched. she laughed at johnny who was now sleeping while sitting against the wall.
