The sludge I had stepped through made my footsteps wet and heavy. I tried to ignore the disgusting feeling as we walked down the bright tunnel. There was a make-shift walkway on the side made of old driftwood. My eyes darted around the tunnel, soaking in my surroundings. It was pretty large, about eight metres above me. The tunnel was arched and the roof was made of a white, water-proof stone. The smell wasn't all that bad either, it was just the river of brown water running through that was horrible. I tried to think of something else than what could be lurking in that water.

We walked for a really long time, it felt like hours. The tunnel started to change slightly, doors started to appear on the sides and I could hear voices. I became more alert and I had my hands open on my sides, just in case. The doors were numbered also, starting from 1. We stopped at number 24. Abby opened the door slowly. It squeaked on it's hinges loudly.

Two people were inside the well-lit room, even if there were no windows insight. There was a massive glass table in the middle of the room and a few cane chairs around the table. It could fit many people comfortably, it seemed it could accommodate about forty people. The two people who were hovering around the table, which had a massive map of Incendium placed on top of it looked in our direction. They seemed young, maybe a little older than me. It was a boy and girl.

The girl had wavy blonde hair tied up like Abby's and bright, sapphire blue eyes. The boy also had blonde hair and blue eyes except his eyes seemed twinkle under the fluorescent lighting. And might I add but he was very attractive. They were both wearing the Rebel uniform. They both had stern faces but they softened when they saw us. "You must be Krista." The boy said and surprise filled my thoughts. "How do you know?"

The girl seemed a little more grouchy. "We know everything about you, we are the Subsisto." She said smugly. The boy rolled his eyes. "Sorry about my sister. I'm Matt and she's Hilary. We command the Subsisto but it's usually Hilary barking out the orders." I chuckled at his joke but Hilary seemed offended. "Well Matt here is too scared to say anything so I do it for him." She snapped. I knew already that I don't want to get on her bad side.

"I guess you might want to know a little more about the Subsisto, especially after being dragged all the way down here." I nodded in response to Matt. "The Subsisto is an organisation planned to restore Virto. As you may of noticed, it's been completely destroyed. All because of the old government. Virto has been the birth-place for the rebellion. The government  found out and its whole army came and wiped out Virto completely, hoping to stop the rebellion. Most of us died but the rest are here. We were the ones who spread the word about the evil government and look what happened there. That goal has been achieved and now it's our mission to restore Virto. We know for sure that Ruler 1 has developed a piece of machinery powerful enough to restore Virto. We have begged him to fix Virto but he has declined every time. Now, we are going to get it for ourselves. We know where he has kept it and now, we need to steal it. Actually, you've come at a good time, we always need someone as skilled as you."

It was a lot to take in from Matt but I understood completely. One thing stayed on my mind. "How do you know who I am?" Hilary laughed coldly, "you're the most wanted person by the Enfirma. We recognise you from news reports. The Enfirma have been looking for you for five years now, we've seen your face many times. We also know about your powers. You're actually quite famous around here. But don't let it go to your head, you have to pull your weight as much as the rest." Hilary barked those words out at me.

"There's a meeting tonight at 7pm. We are inviting the important people to the mission, and you are the most crucial. You will be informed more information then. For know, Abby will take you to get comfortable." Matt said calmly. "Go now." Hilary spat.

I turned around and saw Abby waiting next to the door. "Let me show you around." She said as she opened the door and we started walking down the tunnel once more.
