"So Nandini.. How's life?" Cabir asked, trying to make a conversation.
"Good.."Nandini replied.
"Waise, kya tum Navya ko bataane wali ho? Tum dono ki shaadi ke baare mein?" Cabir asked.
"Actually, no.. It would be a shock for her as mere liye bhi shock se kam nahi tha..." Nandini said.
"Nandu, can I call you that?" Cabir asked.
"Ya sure.. You are no less than a brother to me." Nandini said.
"Thank you behna. Manik bhi nahi batega, Fab 5 ko. BTW, what is Manik jiju doing?" Cabir said and laughed, making Nandini laugh.
"Woh soh raha hai!" Nandini said.
"Phir nahi uthega... Tumhe pata hai, 12th standard ke 1st day par ..." Cabir narrated.
Flashback...
"Manik! Uth! School ke liye late ho raha hai!" Mukti shouted.
"MANIK!!" Dhruv shouted.
"Aaaaaah!" Cabir screamed.
"Cabir, ladkiyon ki tarah chillana bandh kar.. Neeche breakfast kar rahe hai hum!" Raj shouted.
"Guys, time aa gaya hai!" Cabir said.
He went to Raj's bar and brought the ice bucket.
"1..2..3.."Fab 4 shouted.
Aaah!
End of Flashback...
Nandini was laughing like never before.
" Oh God! Cabir Bhai! You are so funny!" Nandini said while laughing.
Nyonika was also sleeping like Manik.. Like mother like son.
That night...
"Nandini beta, for the next whole week, you will stay in our house.." Nyonika said
"But mom-"
"No ifs and buts.. Meine keh diya so keh diya!" Nyonika scolded. And like a good girl, Nandini nodded her head. And then hugged her.
"Mom, I miss Amma!" Nandini said.
"I miss her too baccha.. Sharmila was my bestie.." Nyonika said.
The next day...
"Manik, can I speak to you?" Nandini asked.
"Yeah?" Manik replied.
"Can we be friends?" Nandini asked.
"Ya, sure!" Manik replied. Nandini forwarded her hand for a handshake and Manik, tightly, held it. Nandini was about to leave when he stopped her.
"Nandini, will you go out for a lunch with me, today?" Manik asked.
"Sure, I would love to.." Nandini replied.
"What time?" They both said together.
"At 2?"Manik asked.
Nandini nodded.
"See you Manik. "Nandini said and left.
" She isn't too bad." Manik murmured.
" Who? " Cabir said and scared him.
" Ugh.."
"Nandini? I know, meri behen bahaut acchi hai."
"Behen? Woh teri behen Kab bani?
" Kal, raaste mein. "
Manik rolled his eyes.
" Accha listen, kissi ko kuch pata nahi chalna chahiye or then I'll kill you!"
" Bhai, mujhe itni jaldi nahi marna.. Abhi Tak to meri love life bhi set nahi hui hai! "
Manik just ignored him and left from there.
