minho asked that night and sat down beside hyunjin who was sitting high up the building near one of the signal panels. he frowned upon seeing hyunjin look up to the night horizon with far and sad eyes.

❝ we're not supposed to be here. ❞
the younger said, minho smiled and looked around.
❝ who cares anyway, the view is nice. ❞

minho let out a sound of joy while stretching out, he leaned back and sat comfortably on the glass surface as hyunjin looked at him with an upset look.

❝ hyung ~ i'm going mad. things are just so fucked up and now my feelings for seungmin is strong than what can ever be and just..... even if i say it's alright and i can accept i just— YOU CAN'T JUST SAY THAT WHEN YOU LITERALLY LOVE THAT PERSON! OF COURSE YOU WANT TO BE WITH THEM NO MATTER WHAT! UGH! ❞   
he whined and minho laughed at him.

❝ i don't get it, it's not alright not to be with the person you love. lies if you say you want them to be happy with someone else or alright if he doesn't love you back. i love seungmin and i want us to be together. i don't understand how people can let go so easily! but it seems like the choice i'm supposed to take.... i'm just.... ugh.... ❞

minho looked at hyunjin skeptically but amused. he found it funny and adorable the way the younger had been ranting, it reminded him of himself.
❝ then fight for him. someone who really loves, never gives up for it. i get what you're trying to say, but there are times when you just can't force something that's why people choose to let go, but deep inside, they're still desperate for that person they love to be theirs. ❞

hyunjin crossed his legs together and hugged it. the older just glanced at him with a small smile.

he looked up to the night sky with his own worries and thoughts, sighing at how similar was he facing with hyunjin.

he glanced down with wondering eyes, sadness filling up all his existence as he felt his chest clench of his own guilty heart.

hyunjin sighed.   
❝ a broken trust is worse than a broken heart. break someone's trust.... breaks their heart the same. hearts heal but trust is something that can't. so clumsy of me. seungmin couldn't even look at me without that hint of disappointment and sadness, his forgiveness is just all i ask. why can't we just make up and be friends or something, just forget what happened and all that pain? ❞

❝ it's really difficult to lose someone's trust, especially if you had made a fool out the person. i can't blame seungmin after that either, it's never easy to forgive even though you love that person, somewhere deep inside you can still feel the pain they brought you. it's what makes him upset, how about you? won't you feel upset and hurt when the person you love the most broke your trust and made you feel helpless? it hurts coming from that person other than others. what i'm asking you is, will you forgive that person easily?  ❞         minho looked at hyunjin who looked down, with eyes that looked like glass as he took in heavy and sad breaths, thinking about the older's words carefully.

❝ of course i will. ❞

❝ easier said than done. it's what people live these days, they're not in the place of the people they judge or think about to know what they feel. i can't say i know what both of you feel but what i do know is as much as seungmin loves you, he'd been too selfless for long, he doesn't want to get hurt again, hyunjin. ❞
