I ran and ran for hours. I didn't dare to stop. I was scared I was still close to the pack even though I had passed the border this morning.

The sun had set a few hours ago and today was a new moon. I was engulfed in darkness even my wolf vision not helping much. I had tried to contact my wolf all day but to no avail.

This was my entire fault. If only I was good enough. If only I had been a better person, maybe then everything would be different. My mate would've accepted me. My sister wouldn't hate me and most of all; my child would still be alive.

She did nothing wrong, she was merely a week old. She hadn't even been born yet.

But on second thoughts, it wasn't my fault. I did nothing to make Zoey or the pack hate me. I did nothing wrong whatsoever to make Daniel reject me.

My wolf whimpered at the thought. 'Please be strong! I know you're hurting but I am too. We need to stay strong. My instinct tells me this was only the beginning. Greater things are to come. Please Victoria let me have control. You need to rest. I will heal you the best I can. I feel a pull from some direction. Let me guide you there.' Spercie- my wolf told me.

'Okay.' I reluctantly agreed. I knew that Spercie would never let harm come to me. After all we are one.

I really hope that Spercie doesn't shut me out again.

It was only a matter of seconds before I gave up control. As Spercie took control of her body I sat back and watched everything through her eyes like a movie.

Soon enough tiredness took control of me and I fell back asleep already feeling Spercie heal my body the best she could.

When I woke up, the sun was already shining high in the sky. I was still in my wolf form and a lake was nearby.

'Sorry Victoria, I am really tired. I'm afraid I can't do anything else and you need to take control back. I fixed you the best I could. I am afraid I could only heal the cuts and ease the pain; there is nothing I can do about the scars and the bruises. Also pay attention to your surroundings. We have crossed into some packs territory. I am so so sorry but I couldn't resist the pull. *yawn* Goodbye Tori! Take care...' Spercie told me before she disappeared into the corner of my mind and I shifted back into my human form.

I limped towards the lake and fell to the ground and hungrily gulped down the water. My werewolf genes burned down all the toxics so this water was pretty safe for me to drink.

After having a fair amount of water, I fell down on the ground, exhausted and started to think. What happened after I left the pack house?

I remember the awe on the pack's faces as they saw my green fur. The reason why no one except Tyler and my parents knew is that because of my fur, hunters are going to be on my tail 24/7, making plans to capture me and sell me to the highest bidder.

Also the rogues would make a fortune if they catch me and sell me to the hunters. Either way, this is a huge secret supposed to be kept between trusted people.

My wolf is supposed to be powerful. But I fail to see how I am supposed to be powerful when I can't even defend myself.

I had been so lost in thought and my senses had been so overused that I didn't notice the presence of three wolves. I was by the river but hidden by the rock.

I could see them but they couldn't see me. Although they could sense and smell me. All three of them were muscular like most- if not all- male weres.

2 of them seemed similar. Twins maybe? The third guy seemed to emit power. Not enough for an Alpha but enough for a Beta.

The Beta guy had short brown cropped hair and dark brown eyes. He seemed tall... maybe 6'5"? Perhaps as tall as Daniel.

The twins had light brown straight hair slightly longer than the Beta guy. Both had light hazel eyes.

All three of them were only wearing shorts each and it showed off their muscular chests and biceps. They were sniffing and growling.

It was pretty obvious they knew I was there and watching them. Their eyes snapped to where I was hiding and they growled ferociously.

"What are you doing on our territory rogue!?" The Beta guy growled. His venomous voice was enough to have my knees shaking in fear. I found it hard to speak. My throat hurt and I didn't have any energy left to speak.

Added to that I felt a spot on my neck burning. Specifically the spot where my shoulder and neck meet. More specifically, the spot where my mate would've marked me.

It took every ounce of willpower I had to not scream out loud but I couldn't stop the tears from rolling down my face. With the last bit of strength I had, I ventured out of my hiding spot, aware of my bare form.

The three weres gasped when they saw me, pity filling their eyes with underlying anger.

No matter what condition I was in, I had still trespassed into their land. With that all my willpower crumbled as I scratched at the 'mark spot' and let out an inhumane scream and then collapsed.

Blackness engulfed me as I drifted away, hardly aware of the strong pair of arms carrying me.
