It was the next early morning in Melancholia. It was all quiet. All the people had evacuated their homes and had run off into the mountains.
The enemies army was still spread out everywhere. Taking control of every city.
Melancholias forces were defending off against them. The two man eater, Black and White, were no where to be found. There were screams echoing around, and if someone was screaming that meant that the man eaters were there.
Azalea heard some movements, she suddenly woke up and saw Wren wearing his jacket. "Wren?" she asked.
"Oh shit, did I woke you up? Sorry." he replied.
"No, you didn't. But where are you going?" she asked him.
"I thought I'd look around a bit. It's really early in the morning. The best time to scout the area." he replied.
"I'll come too." said Azalea as she suddenly got up.
"No, stay here. It's better now that you are awake. You can keep guard now. Apparently our guard is fast asleep," said Wren as he turned to look at Aster who is fast asleep.
"They will be fine," said Azalea as she looks around the room to see all her friends sleeping , "besides there is something I need to check. So I am coming." she said as she starts wearing her boats.
"Okay, your choice." he replied.
They go out, and see that no ones there luckily. It's all empty. Looks like the enemy has moved to the next town. Still they go to the place where the enemy has set their old camp.
All the tents and most of the things were still there. It looked like they weren't gone yet. But there was no enemy to be seen anywhere.
"Look what I have found!" said Azalea as she looks at maps on a table.
"They are maps. And they have been marked." said Wren as he checks out the maps.
"Just what are they trying to do?" said Azalea
"I don't know. But it looks like they are trying to capture all of Melancholia, and afterwards they are planning to go back to Euphoria." replied Wren
"And then it will be Utopias turn." said Azalea
"So, right now their main forces are at the royal city." said Wren
"Yeah, which means Vidal and Leader and those man eaters must also be there." said Azalea
"No, I don't think so. They do need you. They need you to open up portals for them, whenever they want. You will be their secret tool, which they can use to go wherever, whenever they want." said Wren
"I see, but wouldn't it benefit them to just capture Melancholias portal maker? I mean he is more experienced than me." asked Azalea
"Don't you know? He is dead. He died a few weeks ago due to an unknown cause. They say it was due to drowning or water, some say it was due to drug overdose. But you know, I think it was murder." replied Wren
