Chapter 1 ~ The Beginning

Alainey's POV *~~

~Beep Beep Beep Beeep Beeeeeeeppppp~
I groan as I roll over taking a few tries to snooze my alarm clock. Ugh time for work. I thought before grabbing some clothes out of my dresser taking a quick shower. I come out of my bathroom noticing the time on my clock, 10:30 pm, "Fuck I'm gonna be late." I say as I hurry out of my small apartment. I work in a nightclub as a bartender not what I dreamt of being but it keeps the bills paid. I get to work and my manager rides my ass because I got here 30 seconds late. "It's thirty seconds I'm here now I'm gonna go do my job" I say closing my work locker walking to the bar as I notice a mysterious man staring at me. I try to ignore it so I can catch up on orders.

Lestat's POV*~~
I'm over 200 years old and haven't found a mate. I've been due for coronation for years but without a mate I'm unable to become king. I think to myself. I might as well go to a different nightclub and see if I find my mate. I leave my black silk sheets and get into a black suit with a red vest and tie. I leave the large mansion getting in my town car driving to the club. As I get there a girl who seems in a rush brushes against my arm and I feel tingles rush through my body. It's her. My eyes widen knowing instantly she's my mate but there's one problem she's human.
