79 ~ At Least a Dozen

i won't be uploading for a few days so here's a double update to compensate :)
This is cute :3

Eloise was sat on the grounds underneath her favourite beech tree by the Black Lake, soaking up some of the last of the Summer sun as September dragged on. She was lying on the grass, making a daisy chain with her head in Robyn's lap as the blonde girl read. Eloise heard footsteps and the sun that was warming her face was blocked. She turned her head so the deep burgundy, wavy hair she had chosen that morning splayed over Robyn's knees. Her vision of any surroundings was blocked by a smiling Sirius with Remus at his side. Eloise grinned and sat up from Robyn's lap, standing up and jumping into Sirius' arms, wrapping her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck,

"Pads! You're finally back!" she shouted and peppered his face with kisses, she heard him laugh and he held her around the waist, swaying them slightly,

"Hey, Gorgeous." he greeted and kissed her sweetly,

"How was the funeral?" she asked, her eyes softening into a look of sadness and Sirius sighed,

"I mean I had to see Walburga and Orion again but at least me and Reg get on now." he shrugged and Eloise smiled, happy to see that the brothers had reconciled. Sirius set Eloise down on the floor but kept his arms around her as did she around him, "It's just upsetting that the only decent person in my family, other than Andromeda, isn't here anymore." Sirius shook his head slightly,

"I'm glad that I atleast got to meet your Uncle Alphard." Eloise muttered, beginning to play with Sirius' hair and smiling slightly as his eyes closed in bliss, "I think his jokes were the only thing that kept me sane at that dreaded ball." she shuddered at the thought of the dinner party and ball that she had to attend at 12 Grimmauld Place last year,

"Well it's the last one we'll have to go to seeing as last time you threw a drink over my cousin,"

"It's not my fault that Bellatrix decided to make a derogatory comment about the company we keep. She shouldn't have done it stood so close to my champagne glass." Eloise mumbled, snarling slightly and Sirius chuckled,

"On the bright side, Alphard left me money in his will." he grinned like a child and Eloise couldn't help but smile too,

"Really?" she smirked,

"Yep! All of it as a matter of fact, which happens to be rather a lot." he leant closer to whisper in her ear, "That's going to help when we're looking for a house after Hogwarts." he told her and she smiled,

"I can't wait." she whispered, "Though I'm not excited to tell James about our decision to move in together." she grimaced and Sirius nodded in agreement.

The couple sat down on the grass, Sirius pulling Eloise onto his lap and holding her close to his chest, having missed her as he left the school for a few days. Robyn and Remus sat next to them, Remus' arm around the Hufflepuff's shoulders and her fingers intertwined with his. Remus had plucked up the courage to ask Robyn on a date to Hogsmeade close to his birthday in March of Sixth Year. The blonde girl obviously said yes and they got together not long later, joining Eloise and Sirius in double dates and having regular reading sessions cuddled up together in either Hufflepuff or Gryffindor Common Room. Robyn became extremely close with everyone, especially Eloise and had taken to spending all of her time with them and the other girls, having clicked instantly with Lily as well. She was a good match for Remus, always sitting next to his bed in the Hospital Wing after a full moon and making the Marauders cry with laughter whenever she spent the night in the boys' dorm along with Eloise, which happened to be most nights. Robyn's sweet and shy personality went hand in hand with Remus' sarcastic and bashful persona, although the blonde had plenty of confidence, only letting it show when she was truly comfortable with people. Eloise couldn't be happier for the couple. Remus was more than content in his relationship and Eloise was glad she had a girly friend to bitch about her Marauder boyfriend to, who happened to shared her pain. 

"So, Moony..." Sirius began, running a hand absentmindedly through Eloise's hair, "What's Lou been saying about me since I've been gone?" he asked and Remus chuckled, though shrugged soon after and put on an innocent expression,

"Just about how much she was glad you weren't there to see her downright flirting with Nathan." Remus then smirked and Robyn let out a laugh as Eloise rolled her eyes and threw her hands in the air,

"How many times have I told you that 1: it wasn't flirting, 2. I have a boyfriend and 3. He has a boyfriend!" she groaned but still felt Sirius stiffen behind her,

"What happened exactly?" he asked, trying to sound casual but it just coming out as constipated.

"Well , we were sat in the Great Hall for lunch and Nathan strolls over to our table and sits next to Elle and puts his arm around her. And then he licked-"

"No, first she fed him strawberries." Robyn interrupted with a cheeky grin sent to a scowling Eloise,

"Oh yeah, thanks, love. So she fed him at least a dozen strawberries and then he said there was some on her face."

"Ahah oh yeah!" Robyn laughed, "And then he licked it off her cheek!" Robyn giggled,

"He did what?" Sirius growled,

"And then Eloise did her flirty laugh, you know the tinkling one where she sounds like a little fairy." Remus continued, "And then they left to the library to do Merlin knows what." Remus concluded, grinning broadly and beginning to twirl the ends of Robyn's hair between his fingers.

"Well..." Sirius said, "It seems you had a lovely time without me." he said angrily and Eloise groaned again, turning around in his lap to face him and making him look at her.

"That was Moony and Birdie's side of the story." she told him, sending a scathing look at the couple who replied with sarcastic waves, "What really happened was he came to sit with us and asked for a strawberry and I held it out for him to take but he just ate it from my fingers. And it wasn't 'at least a dozen'" she mocked, putting on a deep voice to imitate Remus, "It was two." Sirius' furious expression softened slightly but his eyes remained narrowed, "And finally, he licked my cheek in the jokiest way possible and literally just did it before he wiped the rest off with his sleeve." she put a hand on his cheek, "And might I add as my final point that HE. IS. GAY!" she put her nose up to Sirius' and he laughed pecking her lips,

"Sorry, Lou...I shouldn't get so jealous." he admitted and Eloise scoffed,

"Not half! Everytime someone looks at me you want to rip their head off. you should know by now that I only want you, I've stuck with you for almost two years now haven't I?" she asked and he smiled sheepishly, "Although..." she added, lowering her voice to a whisper and putting her hands on the back of his neck, "I would probably get angrier if I didn't find it so hot." she winked and Sirius smirked, flipping off Remus and Robyn as they made gagging noises.
